Chat Spellcheck 2.0.0 - Minecraft 26.3 (Fabric)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
A big update to make Chat Spellcheck friendlier from the first message.
Smarter spellchecking
- Better suggestions in German, Swiss German, Spanish, French, Italian and Hebrew, using word frequencies like English already did.
- Stretched words (sooo, yesss) and laughs (hahaha, xddd) are no longer underlined.
- Capitalised names in the middle of a sentence are skipped (switch off with Skip names; never used with German).
- More chat slang is known.
New players
- First launch turns on the dictionary for your game's language.
- A small tip explains hover, Ctrl+. (Cmd+. on Mac) and /spellcheck the first few times you open chat.
Settings screen
- New look with a live preview line, sections and on/off switches.
- Underline style (squiggle, straight, dotted) and colour (red, pink, orange, blue).
- Scrolls to fit every GUI scale and window size.
Stats and little touches
- Stats card: words checked, typos fixed, clean-message streak, and fixes this week. Stats stay on your computer.
- Underlines grow in, suggestions slide into place, and fixed words sparkle. Just as fast as 1.0.3.
Tested with Fabric API 0.162.0+26.3. Existing settings and word lists carry over.
