Chat Heads Vintage
Chat Heads Vintage is a client-side Minecraft 1.12.2 backport of Chat Heads. It displays a player's skin head next to chat messages so senders are easier to distinguish.

Manual aliases use nickname=MinecraftUsername, for example ServerNickname=RealName.
Command suggestion compatibility
Chat Heads Vintage can show player heads in command suggestion lists provided by either of these optional mods:
- Brigo Forge 1.1.1
- Salutation 1.0.2
You do not need either mod to use Chat Heads Vintage. If one is installed, support for it is enabled automatically.
A head is shown only when a suggestion exactly matches the Minecraft username of a player who is currently online, including capitalization. Nicknames, aliases and incomplete command text do not receive heads. The suggestion list automatically makes room for each head and keeps the entries visible and clickable.
Both integrations have passed basic compatibility tests on Java 8. More multiplayer testing is still welcome, especially for drawing, scrolling and clicking the modified suggestion lists.
Support for Cleanroom's built-in command suggestions is on hold until that feature is merged into Cleanroom's main branch.
