CBC: Firepower Components 0.4.2 — Forge 1.20.1

The independently maintained Forge 1.20.1 edition has been updated from version 0.3.2 to 0.4.2. This release introduces new content, interface improvements, compatibility updates, and stability fixes.

Improvements and Fixes

• The Cannon Magazine Loader can now load CBC Fixed Cannon Mounts.
• Fixed automatic loading stalls when complete and incomplete ammunition groups were present together.
• Mechanical Arms can now interact with the new ammunition racks, casing collector, and vertical mount.
• Backported ammunition switching, fixed-mount automatic control, and cannon-limiter functionality.
• Improved Large Autocannon models, breech states, item models, textures, and UV mapping.
• Fixed a crash that could occur when leaving a Vertical Compact Cannon Mount.
• Fixed a startup failure that could occur while loading the Large Autocannon Ammo Box in some modpack environments.
• Improved Create: Radar data-link interaction compatibility.

Create: Radar Compatibility

Optional compatibility is provided for create_radar-0.4.6+mc1.20.1.jar, which may appear as version 0.4.5 in the in-game mod list.

The data link and yaw/pitch controllers can recognize compact mounts. Because of limitations in this older Radar release, fully automatic Radar-controlled firing for compact mounts is not guaranteed.

Radar 5.0, Sable, and Vestalihy belong to the Minecraft 1.21.1 compatibility line and should not be installed in the Forge 1.20.1 environment.

Other Compatibility Notes

• CBC Military Supplement / CBC More Shells targets older CBC releases and is not included in this version’s compatibility scope.
• CBC Modern Warfare is not required. Some releases may be incompatible, so ensure that your selected version supports Create 6.0.8 and CBC 5.11.4.
• Remove older Firepower Components JAR files before installing this update.

The corrected release has completed follow-up testing in an actual modpack environment, and the previous startup problem has not reappeared.
