Catch Me If You Can! (CMIYC) [FABRIC 1.15]

Version 1.1 for 1.15.2 is a fabric port of this mod! There is now a whole load more configs and some slight changes (see the green text below!)

Do forgive the slightly outdated 2018 humor

 

Catch Me If You Can! (CMIYC from this point on) Is the mod you didn't think you needed, using specially manufactured BASEBALL GLOVES you can throw friends, enemies, and villagers into the air, catch them as they fall, propel them away from you or smash them through the floor

 

The mod contains 4 items, all of which are craftable. upgrades and advancements are planned, and can be suggested!

[In 1.15 each glove can be disabled in config]

Basic Gloves of Catching:

Can catch any falling entity, simple.

[In 1.15 this no longer uses slow fall, but rather velocity values]

 

 

(NOTE: In 1.12 this recipe only requires a iron nugget, this is the recipe for the older versions)

 

Basic Gloves of Upwards'ing

ever wanted to be an Iron Golem? well even if you didn't, you can now! This item can throw any entity

[In 1.15 you can configure the height you throw the mob]

 

 

 

Basic Gloves of Tombstoning

And his name is....JOH.. nah that's definitely dead, but you can smash any entity downwards through plank blocks (toggle-able in config)

[In 1.15 this no longer applies as a small explosion is created instead, this is configurable]

 

 

(NOTE: Any anvil variation in vanilla minecraft can be used)

 

Basic Gloves of Oppositional Recoil

Well, you've had every other direction, now propel your foes away with a light tap!

 [in 1.15 you use right click to push entities, no longer relying on knockback enchants]

 

(NOTE: These gloves require a 1 time activation. throw them on the ground and hold right click (or whatever your block place key is) and it will glow, the distance mobs are thrown is toggleable in config)

(NOTE: In 1.15 this recipe requires a diamond instead of a gold ingot, also ignore the above note)

Do you have any further plans?

Most certainly, a lot of my mod creation and updates are fueled by people who like my mods. as for potential updates:

• Make "Advanced" or "Ultimate" gloves for added customer satisfaction
• Make other different types of gloves that do other things.
• maybe make gloves available in dungeons
• generally, anything that is suggested.

[This still applies for 1.15 however its more of on a request basis]

 

Can I put this mod in my pack?

Of course, go ahead! if you enjoy the mod or just think its cool Id love to know. I would however prefer that you do not re-upload this mod anywhere else (unless you have explicit permission from me), as it will always be here
