About

CactusBlade511's Medicines is a mod that adds semi-realistic medicines and diseases to Minecraft.

In addition to medical features, the mod also expands the game with new structures, plants, ores, mobs, and a lot more, enriching exploration and gameplay. This mod also ramps up the game's difficulty, making survival mode more challenging and fun :D

Since the mod is a solid work-in-progress, we appreciate your patience and constructive feedback :)

Features

NOTE: These features are ONLY available in version 3.0.0 and up.

Cactublade511's Medicines 3.0.0 currently doesn't provide much additions, which will be of course expanded through future updates (The mod is being re-written from zero. All features before planned version 3 are available in prior versions). Below is a list of current available features:

• Cold disease, caught by staying in a cold biome for too long without a leather tunic on.
• Medical Cabinet, which serves as a container and workplace for villagers (Apothecaries).
• Pharmacy structures, featured in 3 different biome dependant variations: Plains, Taiga and Snowy Plains.
• Apothecary villager profession, found in Pharmacy structures.
• Wild ginger plant, commonly found in Flower Forests, Dark Forests, and Old Growth Taigas.
• Wild Lemongrass plant, commonly found in Jungles, Sparse Jungles, Bamboo Jungles, Savannas, Savanna Plateaus, and Windswept Savannas.
• Ginger, obtained from harvesting wild ginger plants. Currently only used in a recipe for Warming Tea.
• Boiled Water Bucket, obtained from either cooking a water bucket on a lit campfire, or "smelting" it in a furnace. Used in a recipe for Warming Tea.
• Warming Tea, made from ginger, honeycomb, fern, boiled water bucket and empty bottle. Used to heal Cold.
• Mucus, obtained as a rare random drop while having a cold.
• Lemongrass Stem, obtained from harvesting wild lemongrass plants. Currently has no uses.
• Medical Encyclopedia, bought from Apothecary villagers, currently has no uses.
• And much more WIP stuff which is not worth mentioning now :)
