BuildScape VH — Release Overview

This variant of BuildScape is a purpose-built, lightweight distribution tailored specifically for integration with the Vault Hunters (VH) modpack.

The release prioritizes performance stability, reduced overhead, and seamless compatibility within large-scale modpack environments. To achieve this, several non-essential or high-cost systems from the main branch have been deliberately removed.

VH-Specific Optimizations

Performance Adjustments

  • Vertical Engine Removal The dynamic vertical block system, including all associated variants, has been fully decommissioned. This eliminates significant model baking overhead and reduces both client-side rendering load and server-side processing cost.
  • Registry Simplification Block and item registration pipelines have been streamlined to minimize memory footprint and improve initialization efficiency.

UI and Feature Reduction

  • Supporters Tab Removal The Supporters and Cosmetics interface, along with its backend dependencies, has been entirely removed. This reduces unnecessary UI complexity and eliminates redundant external calls.

Design Focus

The VH release is intentionally scoped to:

  • Core decorative functionality
  • Essential construction variants
  • High stability under heavy modpack load

All retained features are evaluated against their performance impact versus gameplay value within the Vault Hunters ecosystem.

Summary

This version is not feature-parity with the main branch by design. It is a performance-first build optimized for reliability and efficiency in demanding modpack environments.
