Curse Maven Snippet
This release is a big one for mod pack creators, as you can now define rules whether something counts as a new morph or not with JSON.
Gameplay changes:
- Quadrupled strength of iron golem morph: Damage from 3 half hearts to 12 half hearts.
- You can now add favourites and morph into them with the favourites morph GUI, which (as the name suggests),
only shows morphs that you've added as a favourite.
Look into the keybinds of Minecraft if you want to know how to use these features.
- Added command to add a morph to your morph list.
- Added player selectors to every morph command.
GUI changes:
- Entities of the same type but with different NBT data are now grouped together (meaning that a desert villager will appear on the right side of the gui element of a swamp villager)
Behind the scenes changes:
- Games don't crash anymore when morphing into some mobs. Instead, the game will undo that morph. This includes rendering the morph.
- You can now define default NBT tags and tracked NBT data for any given entity. This means, that for example if we had a test entity with the NBT tag test_type set to 0 and another such entity with the NBT tag set to 1, you can tell the morph mod to count those two entities as two distinct morphs instead of one morph.
Bug fixes:
- I think that the annoying bug where you would spawn as a different mob every single time you join the game is now finally fixed. Yaaaay.
- The bug where you would lose the ability to fly when switching from creative mode to survival mode as a bat or any other flying morph has been fixed.
- Fixed an positioning issue of the arm when being morphed in first person.
Compatibility:
- You can now kill a plague beast from the rats mod, and it will show up as a morph instead of crashing the game.
