# Extra Bows
Extra Bows adds 15 unique bows to Minecraft, each with special abilities, effects, and playstyles. From basic material upgrades to explosive TNT launchers and lightning strikes, there's a bow for every situation.

## Tier Bows
Craft upgraded bows using different materials for increased damage and durability.
- **Stone Bow** — 1.0 Attack Damage | 250 Durability
- **Iron Bow** — 1.5 Attack Damage | 500 Durability
- **Gold Bow** — 1.0 Attack Damage | 200 Durability | Fast Draw Speed
- **Diamond Bow** — 2.0 Attack Damage | 1000 Durability
- **Netherite Bow** — 2.5 Attack Damage | 1500 Durability (Smithing Table upgrade)
## Special Bows
- **Bone Bow** — Uses Bones as ammo. Throws bone projectiles that deal 6 damage.
- **TNT Bow** — Uses TNT as ammo. Launches explosive projectiles that detonate on impact. Shooter is protected from self-damage.
- **Coal Bow** — Uses Torches as ammo. Places torches on block hit and sets enemies on fire.
- **Glowstone Bow** — Deals double damage when using Spectral Arrows.
- **Shulker Bow** — Inflicts Levitation II for 5 seconds on hit. Send your enemies skyward.
- **Blaze Rod Bow** — Shoots fire arrows. Sneak + Right-Click with 5 Blaze Powder to summon a Blaze pet that fights alongside you for 2:30, targeting bosses and high-HP mobs first. 5 minute cooldown.
- **Lightning Bow** — 2.5 Attack Damage. Strikes lightning where the arrow lands. Electric spark particle trail.
- **Ender Bow** — 1.5 Attack Damage. Teleports you to where the arrow hits. Portal particle trail + enderman teleport sound.
- **Poison Bow** — Inflicts Poison II for 5 seconds on hit.
- **Redstone Bow** — Inflicts Weakness II for 5 seconds on hit.
## Blaze Pet
The Blaze Rod Bow can summon a loyal Blaze companion:
- Lasts 2 minutes 30 seconds
- 40 HP (double a normal Blaze)
- Auto-targets nearby hostile mobs
- Prioritizes bosses and high-HP enemies
- Attacks whatever you attack
- Follows you when not in combat
- Won't attack players
## Crafting
All bows use the vanilla bow shape — 3 of the material + 3 string (material replaces sticks). Netherite Bow is upgraded from Diamond Bow at a Smithing Table.
