BlockTrace

BlockTrace is a powerful block logging and rollback mod for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 designed to help server administrators and players monitor world changes and restore damage caused by griefing, explosions, or accidents.

The mod records important world events such as block placement, block breaking, container interactions, explosions, and fluid placement. With its inspection system and GUI tools, you can quickly identify who modified a block, when it happened, and what changes were made.

Main Features

Block Logging

Tracks block placement and block breaking
Displays player name and timestamp
Persistent logs saved even after server restart

Container Tracking

Detects when items are added or removed from chests and containers
Shows which player modified the container
Logs are grouped for cleaner inspection

Explosion Logging

Tracks explosions caused by TNT, creepers, and other sources
Helps identify the cause of large block changes

Inspect Mode

Click any block to see its history
Shows who modified the block and when

Rollback & Restore

Restore damaged areas
Undo block changes within a specific radius or time frame

Persistent Log Storage

Logs are stored in the game directory:

/blocktrace_logs

This allows administrators to review complete logs outside the game if needed.
