Block Band

Practice mode. Pick Practice... on the song list to loop any part of a song until you've got it.

• Choose a section, or Shift+click to practise several in a row (up to two minutes).
• Play it at 50% to 125% speed. Slowed-down music stays in tune, and the notes still come down the highway at the usual pace, so they're easier to read.
• Every run starts with a bar of clicks and loops straight back round. The top of the screen shows how your last and best runs went. Practice can't fail, and its scores aren't saved.
• Clone Hero and Rock Band charts use their own sections (Intro, Verse 1, Solo...). Other songs are split every 8 bars.
• Works with every instrument, vocals included, with recorded audio or note blocks.

A better song list.

• Search by title or artist: just start typing.
• Star your favourites and show only them with the star button.
• The song you pick plays a short preview, from the chart's preview point if it has one. You can turn previews off in Settings.
• Up and Down move through the list, and Enter plays.
