✨ Magic Expansion Update

This update significantly expands Bladebound’s magic system, introduces new spells and tiers, adds new weapons and materials, and improves UI and progression systems.


🔮 Magic & Spells

  • Introduced a new Ancient spell tier.
  • Added new spells across multiple tiers:
    • Stone Dart (Starter Spell) – fast, early-game magic projectile.
    • Defensive Magic (Rare Spell) – a toggleable mana-based shield.
    • World Rewrite (Ancient Spell) – an extremely rare, high-impact spell.
  • Spell progression now supports learning spells through grimoires.
  • Improved spell casting behavior so projectiles originate from the staff (main-hand), not the player POV.

🖥️ UI & Configuration

  • Added new YACL configuration options for magic and UI customization.
  • Added a Mob Health HUD for improved combat clarity.

🗡️ Weapons & Items

  • Added two new weapons:
    • Stark’s Axe
    • Zenitsu’s Nichirin
  • Added a new crafting material:
    • Steel Ingot

⚙️ Gameplay Systems

  • Introduced Defensive Magic as Bladebound’s first dedicated defensive magic system.
  • Continued refinement of the modern magic framework, including spell tiers, learning flow, and cooldown handling.
