BioCraft 0.13.2 — The Fermenter
Alpha · Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge 21.1.172+
New: Multiblock Fermenter
- Build a 3×3×3 stomach fermenter with a controller, 20 bone frames, a chamber, and separate ports for organic input, biomass output, and biofluid.
- Processes 8 organic items into 4 biomass in 5 seconds, consuming 100 mB of biofluid per batch by default. Eight times the throughput of the basic stomach, with the same material yield.
- Includes three input slots, three output slots, and an 8,000 mB biofluid tank.
- Connect peristaltic channels for item transport and vessels for power from either a small or large heart.
- Supports redstone and neural-network control. Structural damage or unloaded parts disable processing and ports; repairs restore operation.
- Ingredients and biofluid are consumed only when a complete batch can be delivered. Progress and stored resources are saved between sessions.
Models and Guidebook
- Added an asymmetric stomach model with deep burgundy tissue, fixed supports, and three visually distinct ports.
- Added animated peristaltic contractions that follow actual operation and stop when the fermenter is idle, starved, blocked, disabled, or damaged.
- Component inventory models now match their appearance in the world.
- Expanded the guidebook with recipes, a complete automation example, an animated 3D scene, and step-by-step construction with accurate layer views.
Shared Bone Frames
- The Large Heart and Fermenter now use the same Bone Frame, resolving the conflicting recipes for separate frame types.
- Craft four frames from two bone plates and one sinew.
- Legacy fermenter frames still work in both structures and can be mixed with shared frames. They convert 1:1 through crafting or drop the shared frame when broken. Existing structures do not need rebuilding.
