BetterSurvival v1.2 Changelog

Adapted for the RLC version of Ice and Fire.

Please note:

  • All dragon-themed weapons in this version have had their special effects reworked.

  • This version is only compatible with the RLC branch — it does NOT work with the CE version or the vanilla version.

  • This version is fairly complete. However, the RLC branch of Ice and Fire still has some planned features that have not yet been implemented (this version has fully reworked the effects for all three dragon series and runs properly, but it is NOT compatible with Spartan Weapons).

If you wish to play with features like chain lightning, please download the corresponding RLC branch of Ice and Fire from there.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Versatility Enchantment — Critical FPS Drop Fix

  • Fixed a severe performance bug where holding an item enchanted with both Versatility and Efficiency caused the game to drop to ~1 FPS.

⚖️ Enchantment Compatibility

  • Versatility is now correctly marked as incompatible with:
    • Efficiency — overlapping function & triggers the recursive loop
    • Silk Touch — functional conflict
  • Tunneling is now correctly marked as incompatible with:
    • Silk Touch — overpowered combination (mass silk-touch mining)
  • These restrictions are enforced at the enchanting table and anvil. Previously incompatible combinations can no longer be obtained legitimately.
