I wanted to make a mod and this is my first attempt! I wanted to expand and implement copper from 1.17 and bring it to 1.16.5. I felt like some of the Caves and Cliffs Update mod ports were lacking in fabric, so I went ahead and made one myself!

I added copper ore which can be mined to get raw copper. Once you have raw copper, you can smelt it to make copper ingots. Copper ingots can be used to get copper blocks and cut copper blocks. The copper items that are based on 1.17 are basically the same as the wiki other than the generation for the most part, and copper doesn't have the cool oxidizing function, but once I figure out the code, I'll add it to the 1.16.5 version. I made it a bit less frequent since I felt like copper was a bit too much. I may change it later on though. Since I felt like the smithing table was WAY underused and is basically the "netherite table," I took it upon myself to create Rose Golden Tools! They are basically golden tools, but the new thing is that they have the same durability as iron. The thing most people don't even know about gold is that it is more likely to get the better enchants than Iron so you are definitely going to want to get these tools. I wanted to come up with something that made more of a realistic sense but also improved something in the game. Gold is probably the most useless of all the ore in the game, so I wanted to make it better. You can also use 8 copper ingots in the shape of a chest recipe and a glass pane in the middle to make the Scuba Helmet! Unfortunately, this helmet is still in the works and has no use other than cosmetic. I will eventually add cool things to it.

I don't know how much I will expand upon this idea, but I do know I am definitely updating it to 1.17 when I can finish the scuba helmet/armor. I may have to balance the mod further when I update it to 1.17, but hopefully, it won't be too bad. I also have many other small modding ideas that I will be making in the future so lookout for more.
