[OLD] What is my console spaming?

Most mobs use special spawning conditions, which means that these mobs can only appear under certain conditions. If the spawning conditions work, this spam is created in the console.

[OLD] Why are Mobs not spawning?

Mobs in Creeping Woods only work at night. This means that you can only spawn them at night.

► Why are features missing in different versions?

It is recommended to play the newest versions of higher minecraft versions.

Not all features of MCreator available or the same in different versions.
For example: Version 1.19.2 doesn't have the feature of shield, better structure generation or custom villagers, but Version 1.20.1 does have them.

► How can I disable the Random Generation of Spider Eggs?

The Generation of Spider Eggs can be disabled if you set the gamerule "spiderEggGeneration" to false.

Keep in mind that spiders can still place Spider Eggs when they killed an entity!

► Where can I find the mobs?

Most mobs can be found in regular plains or forest biomes. Some are only be found in jungles, deserts, savannas, during the night or in caves

► How can I tame a Jumping Spider?

You can tame a jumping spider by right clicking it with a Spider Eye Soup and instantly right clicking them with a saddle to tame them. If a Jumping Spider is tamed, it will not despawn naturally.

► How can I remove Mite Infection?

Mite Infection can be cleared by burning. If you clear the Mite Infection without burning, new mites will spawn, eventually infecting you again. Mites only infect a player if they don't wear full armor.

You can also disable the Mite Infection by setting the gamerule "disableMiteInfection" to true.

► Why is the Spider Cave so common/uncommon

The Spider Cave is a new custom cave biome and making a cave biome in mcreator is complicated. Sometimes, the cave is to big or to common, but sometimes it's to small or uncommon. Finding a balance with the generation is hard.

If you don't find any spider cave, you can also use the /locate biome command.

► Why does the spider cave decoration take so long?

The Spider Cave uses features as decorations. Those features places small blocks that doesn't use the default tick update. Instead, they have to tick randomly for generating the whole decoration due to naturall spawning placement within those blocks.

But most of the time, a player won't notice this as most of the stuff is already loaded. But if a player teleports to a spider cave or somehow find a cave while the decoration is loading, you might notice this.

► Why do I find random cobwebs under blocks?

This meant that there was a cellar spider, a black widow, a long horned orb weaver or a golden orb weaver hanging from the ceiling. Those spiders spawn often under blocks while creating a cobweb.

► How can I turn off the Cobweb spawning under trees?

The Generation of Cobwebs under blocks can be disabled if you set the gamerule "disableNaturalSpiderCobwebs" to true

► Why can't I read the descriptions of the spiders within the Bestiary of Spiders book?

To read all descriptions, you have to find the spider first and approach it within a 10 block range. After that, you should have access to the description of the spider, making the book a bit of a collection task.

Arachnids

Arachnids are a diverse group of creatures found throughout the world. Most of them are either aggressive or neutral, depending on their species. They can spawn across various biomes such as caves, savannas, forests, plains, or jungles, while some can also be found in the new Spider Cave biome. Certain arachnids can even be seen clinging to ceilings, waiting for unsuspecting prey to pass beneath them. Many of these creatures are venomous, capable of inflicting poison or worse and weaving sticky webs to trap their victims. However, not all arachnids are dangerous! Some can even be helpful, such as the Jumping Spider, which offers new forms of transportation. Along spiders lurks a rare insect predator, called the Tarantula Hawk, a natural enemy of spiders that hunts them down without mercy.

Mite

Mites are tiny, fast-moving arachnids that spawn in plains, forests, jungles, savannas, and caves. They cannot swim and pose a risk to players without armor, causing a Mite Infection that deals damage and hunger over time. If exposed to fire, the infection is removed, but if it clears naturally, new mites will spawn nearby. Their small size makes them hard to spot, but they are relentless when swarming.

Tick

Ticks are small, slow arachnids found in forests, plains, and savannas. They cannot swim and are immune to fall damage. Ticks leap onto players, and if the target has less than 9 armor points, they can inflict Poison, Slowness, Weakness, and rarely Wither. Players under 12 hearts trigger a special behavior where the tick fattens up and temporarily retreats, returning to normal after 20 seconds.

Scorpion

Scorpions are medium-sized predators found in deserts, savannas, badlands and jungles, forests. Depending on the biome, they're color will change between black and brown. They are Immune to cactus damage and hunt baby spiders, mites, and ticks, and will attack if provoked. Harvestmen are large, fast arachnids that appear in plains, forests, caves, and swamps, sometimes hanging from ceilings in caves. They can climb walls and are immune to fall damage. Normally neutral, they become aggressive if provoked or in dark areas, hunting baby spiders, mites, and ticks efficiently.

Whip Spiders are found in savannas, jungles, taigas and caves. They can climb walls and are immune to fall damage, remaining neutral unless provoked or in dark areas. Whip Spiders hunt baby spiders, mites, and ticks, and have a slightly higher attack range than most other arachnids, making them formidable predators in their environment.

Camel Spider

Camel Spiders are fast and strong arachnids found in deserts, badlands, and savannas. They are immune to cactus damage and scorpion venom and deliver high knockback and aggressively hunt scorpions and players. Their speed and strength make them highly dangerous in open terrain.

Giant Antarctic Sea Spider

The Giant Antarctic Sea Spider lives in the deep cold and frozen oceans, crawling along the sea floor. It is massive, with high health, resistance, and damage, but moves slowly due to its size. Its pale, eerie form makes it one of the more unsettling creatures found in the cold depths.

Spiderling

Tiny and weak spiderlings that spawn in caves or on the surface at night. Often emerge from other spiders or eggs. They can climb walls and are immune to fall damage.

Flying Spiderling

Cellar Spider

Cellar Spiders are found in forests and caves, hanging from ceilings by a thin web. They are neutral but will stalk anyone within 5 blocks. If a player comes closer, the cellar spider will start to wobble. If a player destroys they're web or hurt them, they will fall to the ground and avoid players. They are fast and immune to fall damage.

Long Horned Orb Weaver

The Long-Horned Orb-Weaver is a small spider found hanging from cobwebs in jungles. It waits quietly above until a player comes within 5 blocks, then suddenly drops down to attack. Despite its size, it has surprising knockback strength, can leap onto targets, and climb walls with ease.

It can attack from a 4-block range, leap onto targets, and climb walls. The Assassin Spider comes in two color variations.

Spitting Spider

The Spitting Spider is a small spider found in savannas, plains, meadows, and birch forests. It leaps on targets, climbs walls, and can spit cobwebs from a distance, traping its prey before attacking. Quick and tricky, it can easily overwhelm unprepared players with its web projectiles.

Jumping Spider

The Jumping Spider can leap onto it's victims while attacking. It's immune to fall damage and poison damage from other Arachnids. The Jumping Spider can be fed Spider Eye Soup which makes it dance and regenerate. Giving it a saddle afterward makes it rideable, allowing players to leap great distances while ridding the creature. You can also climb walls and leap great distances when the Jumping Icon is filled up. They won't despawn anylonger when having a saddle on, but they can still attack you, if you provoked it.

Diving Bell Spider

The Diving Bell Spider lives in warm oceans and rivers, creating a bubble-like nest underwater where it hides motionless. It is usually neutral, dealing low damage with little health, but if its bubble is broken (for example by right-clicking to refill full oxygen), it becomes aggressive and starts swimming toward the player. It doesn’t drown and is the only spider truly adapted to live beneath the water surface.

Ogre Faced Netcaster

The Ogre Faced Netcaster is a unique ambush predator found in jungles and dark oak forests. It hangs from the ceiling, silently waiting for prey to approach. If a player comes within 10 blocks, it drops down and places sticky cobwebs to trap its target. Its eerie eyes and sudden descent make it one of the more creepier spiders to face in the wild.

Wolf Spider

Wolf Spiders are larger spiders that can be found in forests or plains biomes. They are neutral within lighted areas but aggressive in dark areas, just like normal spiders do. It carries it's babies on the back. The Wolf Spider can deal strong knockback and spawn a bunch of Spiderlings when hurt or killed. Luckily it doesn't have any poison.

Trapdoor Spider

The Trapdoor Spider is a medium-sized arachnid that hides underground in Savanna, Plains, and Forest biomes. It remains completely still until a player gets too close, then suddenly bursts out of the ground to attack. This spider has no poison, but it compensates with a powerful leap attack that can surprise unsuspecting players. The Trapdoor Spider can appear in three different color variations and is fast.

Huntsman Spider

Their venom is mild (Poison I for 10 seconds), but they can be dangerous in groups. When they kill other mobs, they lay spider eggs. They can also release stinging hairs.

Six-eyed Sand Spider

Its venom is mild (Poison I for 10 seconds), but it can shoot spider eggs and lays more eggs when killing other mobs, ensuring its presence dominates the area. This massive predator is a true apex arachnid in the mod.

Stick Bug

The Stickbug is a tiny, rare creature that can spawn when breaking leaves. It remains motionless when a player is nearby and it will start dancing. Right-clicking it with a stick prevents it from despawning, often accompanied by its famous meme sound, turning it into your own little dancing companion.

Tarantula Hawk

Tarantula Hawks are flying insects that appear in jungles and savannas. They hunt large spiders and will follow players holding raw spider legs. Normally neutral, they will paralyze targets on attack, inflicting Slowness, Weakness, and Mining Fatigue. When they kill a spider, a Tarantula Hawk Larva will spawn.
Tarantula Hawk Larva

These larvae emerge after a Tarantula Hawk kills a spider. They avoid other mobs and will grow into a full Tarantula Hawk after 30 seconds, continuing the life cycle.
