A mod that prevents accidental overcharging of respawn anchors during fast-paced CPVP by automatically blocking glowstone placement once your charge limit of(1 or 2 Glowstone ) is reached.

Description

A lightweight, client-side Fabric mod designed specifically for high-intensity Crystal PvP (CPVP).

The Problem

During fast-paced CPVP fights, clicking too fast often leads to accidentally overcharging respawn anchors. This wastes valuable glowstone, disrupts your rhythm, and can even trigger server-side anti-cheat false positives.

The Solution

Better Anchors intercepts your interactions on the client side. Once an anchor reaches a safe charge threshold, the mod blocks any further glowstone placement before the action ever reaches the server.

Key Features

  • Client-Side Only: Does not require server-side installation. Works on any server running Fabric 1.21.1.

  • Smart Charge Limiting: When toggled on, it dynamically sets a charge cap per anchor:

    • 85% chance to limit the anchor to 1 charge.

    • 15% chance to limit the anchor to 2 charges.

  • On-the-Fly Toggle: Use an in-game keybind (Default: V) to quickly turn the protection on or off.

  • Action Bar Feedback: Displays a clear on-screen message whenever the status is toggled.

  • Anti-Cheat Safe: Because the interaction packet is blocked locally, the server never registers the overfilled state.

How to Use

  1. Install the mod in your mods folder along with the Fabric API.

  2. Hop into your server or single-player world.

  3. Press V (or your bound key) to toggle the mod on or off.

  4. Anchor normally—the mod will prevent overcharging.

Requires Minecraft 1.21.1 and Fabric Loader.
