Beltworks

Factorio-style belts for NeoForge, laid block by block on the grid, with splitters, slopes and four speed tiers. Loaders move items between belts and any inventory, vanilla or modded, so it works with any tech mod.

What's new

  • Requires Groundworks 0.5.8 or later.
  • Beltworks' items are in the Works creative tab, which every FactoryWorks mod shares, and Beltworks has no tab of its own. The tab comes from libworks, which is inside the Beltworks jar, so there is nothing more to install.
  • A belt stretch started, anchored or ended by aiming at a placed tile now lies in that tile, where before it lay on top of it: a tile of another tier is replaced, keeping its items, and one of the held tier is kept or turned to the stretch, as along the rest of the line. A replaced tile hands back what breaking it drops, its own tile. Aiming at a splitter still lays the stretch beside it (5thlayer/beltworks#105, 5thlayer/groundworks#49).
  • Loaders and feeders no longer lose or duplicate an item when another mod's inventory says it will take an item and then refuses it. Each move now goes through only once the item is really in, and otherwise the item stays where it was (5thlayer/beltworks#29).
  • A loader set with its mouth against the side of a straight belt tile now side-loads onto that line, as a belt there would: the line's own items go first and the loader's fill the gaps (5thlayer/beltworks#24).
