What's new

Changelog

1.9.0

- Headman guards no longer respawn instantly. Missing guards return silently after 0.5–2 Minecraft days.

- Nation diplomacy: every nation now has a permanent ally and a permanent rival, displayed in the nation information.

- Rival nations send war parties to attack each other's villages, while allied nations send reinforcement parties to defend them.

- Soldiers automatically attack all hostile targets. They will immediately target anything that attacks their owner or anything their owner attacks.

- Archer arrows now pass through friendly villagers, Iron Golems, and allied soldiers (piercing arrows + friendly-fire protection).

- Expanded English localization layer: dialogues, village menus, and all chat messages are now translated based on the player's selected language.

1.8.0

- Peace offers can now appear no earlier than the 4th Minecraft day (rolled every half day, each offer remains valid for one day).

- Raids now occur every 1–2 Minecraft days and march directly toward one of the player's towns. Upon arrival, raiders attack the town's citizens.

- When a Headman dies, the village remains without one for about 2 Minecraft days. A new Headman with a different name is then selected from the name pool.

- Village uprising: attacking any member of a village (villager, citizen, soldier, Headman, Lord, or Iron Golem) causes every soldier and Iron Golem in the village to abandon their duties and attack the aggressor.

- Headman guards: every Headman is accompanied by an elite guard whose size and composition depend on the nation and the village. These guards follow and protect the Headman.

- Village Banner is now craftable using wool, an emerald, a stick, and an iron ingot.

- Creating a village now costs 30 experience levels.

1.7.0

- Warfare system: attacking any member of a village worsens relations, and relations continue to decline while the conflict lasts. If relations drop below -60, the nation declares war (red chat announcement + server log), and its soldiers attack the player on sight.

- Peace: if a war drags on, the nation may offer a ceasefire. The offer can be accepted by talking to that nation's Headman and paying 48 emeralds.

- Raids: every nation at war periodically launches raid parties. Each nation has its own troop roster and four raid tiers. Vlanderia, Empira, Batanya, and Khuzgar also send their Lord with the highest-tier raid (the Lord temporarily leaves their village).

- Lord death: when a Lord is killed, the nation remains without a Lord for 3 in-game days. A new Lord is then selected from the pool and announced (bannerlordcraft_lords.json).

- Village storage: added Previous/Next Page buttons to the left side of the storage GUI, removed the misleading "press twice" message, and made the GUI title translatable.

- Added 20 international names to the Headman name pool.

- Turkish localization now uses proper Turkish characters (stored as Unicode escapes to keep source files ASCII-compatible). Added new war, peace, raid, Lord, and storage texts to the en_us and tr_tr language files.

- Updated mod version to 1.7.0, added the MIT license, and introduced a changelog.

1.6.1

- Fixed a compilation error in HeadmanDialog.

1.6

- Added Lord equipment, village hostility mechanics, and language-based localization.

1.5

- Added NPC nations, Headmen, Lords, and map improvements.
