Bacchanalian Mobs is a complex, advanced approach to the topic of mobs and fighting them. This mod is created with the expectation of being better than existing mods of a similar genre.

Feature List:
- Dynamic Difficulty System: Used as a condition and multiplier for many features in the mod. Difficulty points increase or decrease over time, depending on player actions and the strength of their equipment.
- Customizable equipment and potion effects for mobs upon spawn.
- Mobs can increase their HP, and so can the player.
- Apply multipliers to the damage that mob "A" deals to mob "B"; apply multipliers to the damage that mob "A" takes from damage source "X".
- Consequences System: When a mob deals or receives damage, another mob may receive Consequences according to the settings. These can include damage, armor-bypassing damage, and potion effects.
- Features Module: A set of individual AI tasks and behavior tweaks. For example: Mobs can ride horses, perform long dashes, and run away from TNT explosions; Creepers can blow up walls on their way to the player; Spiders leave webs behind them and try to entangle their target.
- Sight Module: Mobs can have two X-Ray modes. "Precise" mode - a standard X-Ray; "Cached" mode - the mob receives the position the player was standing at at one point in time and updates the position again when it sees that the player has already left that position.
- Reaching System: If a mob cannot reach the player, the mob will take one of the following actions: Call a parrot as a flying vehicle; Jumps over a pit; begins to break a pillar (if the player built a pillar out of blocks to avoid danger).
- "Lords" module: A few mobs can become Lords. Lords have a set of stat buffs and a set of behavioral abilities. These abilities significantly change the mob's behavior, forcing the player to use different combat tactics.
- Every 3 days, at night, a raid will occur. During the raid, single mobs will spawn at a random point around the player, and with X-Ray, they will approach the player! Raid mobs may have different stats than mobs from natural spawns.

Bacchanalian Mobs provides a very detailed configuration. You can customize literally anything! Any mod feature can be assigned a Condition (only certain dimensions, biomes, Y-coordinate ranges, SRParasite evolution phases, player time spent in-game, Dynamic Difficulty scores, player game stages) to selectively apply them. The "Mob List" system allows you to conveniently apply features only to selected mobs, without having to manually copy-paste text multiple times.
The content is divided into Modules. Each Module can be globally disabled.
However, the configs are TOO detailed, and the average player may find them difficult to understand.

Documentation on using the config

This mod is currently WIP (Work In Progress). I need your bug reports (especially unusual situations in conjunction with other mods). I'm also looking for your suggestions and will add the ones I like to the mod.

This mod remains on 1.12.2. Any requests to port it to another version will be ignored.

Integrations and Dependencies:
This mod supports integrations in various forms with: Scape and Run: Parasites, Techguns, Game Stages, and Better Player Respawn. (Links to these mods can be found in the "Relations" section.)
You can use MixinBooter to access one tweak: changing immunity frames for SRParasites.
I highly recommend installing the Custom Nausea mod. Some features from Bacchanalian Mobs inflict nausea. By default, it's implemented very poorly, and this mod will improve the situation.
