Awakened Mobs

Epic Fight addon. Zombies, skeletons and piglins spawn wielding varied Epic Fight weapons (greatswords, spears, katanas, longswords, daggers) and fight back: guarding, parrying and countering your hits. Some sprint at player speed. Fully configurable.

Optimised /Enhanced safety

  • Pinned the Epic Fight dependency to the tested [20.14,21) range so an untested EF major is rejected at load instead of crashing in-game.
  • Guarded the guard/parry/dodge handler: an Epic Fight API error now disables the feature for the session (logged once) instead of throwing on every hit.
  • Recognized every Epic Fight weapon type (spear, greatsword, longsword, tachi, katana, dagger) in melee-defender detection so no wielder is silently skipped.
  • Added a vanilla sword/axe fallback when Epic Fight weapon items cannot be resolved, so mobs still spawn armed.
  • Made spawn-equipping fail-safe: an equip error no longer aborts the mob from joining the world.
  • Ignored .DS_Store in git.
