# AstroCraft Cosmic

AstroCraft Cosmic is a Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 mod that adds a complete cosmic progression system with a new dimension, special tools, unique abilities, custom crafting, improved storage, faster smelting, ranged combat, and many cosmic effects.

The mod does not only add basic tools with better durability. AstroCraft Cosmic focuses on useful equipment and real gameplay features that make the mod more interesting and enjoyable to play.

### Cosmic Dimension

Update 1.4.0 adds the first version of the Cosmic Dimension.

Explore a new cosmic world with its own biome, custom blocks, vegetation, ores, crystals, flowers, tall grass, and a fully animated portal system.

Cosmic tools come with powerful abilities that can be enabled or disabled with one shared customizable keybind.

- Cosmic Pickaxe with Vein Miner
- Cosmic Axe with Tree Capitator
- Cosmic Shovel with 3x3 Excavation
- Cosmic Hoe with 3x3 Harvest

These tools are designed to make mining, woodcutting, digging, and farming faster and more enjoyable.

### Cosmic Armor

Wear the full Cosmic Armor set to unlock a complete armor set bonus.

The armor set includes:

- Cosmic Helmet
- Cosmic Chestplate
- Cosmic Leggings
- Cosmic Boots

### Cosmic Bow and Cosmic Arrows

Use the Cosmic Bow and Cosmic Arrows for ranged combat with custom projectiles, cosmic particles, and special hit effects.

### Cosmic Shield

The Cosmic Shield works like a real Minecraft shield, with custom rendering in hand and cosmic particles while blocking attacks.

### Astro Workbench

Most AstroCraft items are crafted inside the Astro Workbench, a special crafting station used for custom AstroCraft recipes.

### Cosmic Furnace

A custom furnace that smelts items 2x faster than a vanilla furnace.

- Uses vanilla fuel
- Cosmic Gems can be used as special fuel
- Custom interface
- Active texture and light while smelting
- Cosmic particles while active

### Cosmic Chest

A large animated storage block with 54 slots and up to 1000 items per slot.

- Animated opening system
- Opening and closing sounds
- Correctly saves stored items
- Drops stored items when broken

### JEI Support

Astro Workbench recipes can be viewed with JEI.

JEI is optional, but recommended if you want to see AstroCraft custom recipes more easily.

Most AstroCraft equipment is crafted using the Astro Workbench instead of the vanilla crafting table.

AstroCraft Cosmic 1.4.0 adds the first version of the Cosmic Dimension.

This update introduces a new world to explore, with its own biome, animated portal, new cosmic blocks, custom trees, crystals, flowers, cosmic tall grass, and Cosmic Ore generation directly inside the dimension.
