ascend-1.21.1-1.6.8.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Added
Node Locks
- Nodes in mastery and skill trees can now lock other nodes. Choosing one permanently disables the others.
- Locking a node also disables the entire branch below it.
- A single node can lock multiple other nodes, allowing one choice to close several branches.
- Set locks with Shift + Right-Click on another node or through the Locks Out section in the node panel.
- Hovering over a node highlights everything it would disable in red, including boxes, connectors, and linked nodes.
- Nodes that lock others display a red marker.
- Locked nodes are shown with a strikethrough, and tooltips show what choosing a node would lock.
- Works in both tree and web layouts, including the Ascension tree.
- Previously purchased nodes are never removed.
Per-Track Damage Exclusions
- Added a Not This Kind of Damage section to the mastery editor.
- Exclude ranged, melee, or specific damage types.
- Wildcards are supported.
- Allows custom spell tracks to train normally without also counting as ranged damage.
Trainer Matching Improvements
- Trainer values now support wildcards in NBT data.
- Trainers can read mod data components as well as custom data.
Melee Reach
- Added the
combat.meleeReachsetting to control how far away a hit can be while still counting as melee. - Default reach is 4.0.
- Setting it to 0 disables the distance check.
Changed
Damage Tracking
- Masteries now track the type of damage that actually dealt the hit instead of guessing based on what is being held.
- Spells cast from curios, scrolls, or keybinds now train the correct mastery track even when a weapon is held.
- Sword attacks continue to train melee, and bows continue to train ranged.
- Trainer matching can now target damage from specific mods using wildcards.
- Mastery EXP and melee/ranged damage bonuses now consistently use the same damage type for each hit.
Fixed
- Deleting or editing default stat categories now persists correctly instead of restoring the defaults after restarting.
- The same issue was fixed for attribute scaling.
- Category and scaling layouts now properly reset when leaving a world, preventing one world's setup from carrying over into another.
- Not being able to scroll in menus (1.21.1)
