"Take On Me" Update (v1.3.0)

Changes:

  • Added 16 new unique weapons, making the total amount of weapons finally amount to 40.

      • Basic:
        • Honeycomb Gavel
        • Razor Sharp Arachnostars
        • Evergale Wand
        • Kris of the Vagabond
        • Zombified Arm
        • Bonecarved Scythe
        • Slimesling Whip
        • Icebreaker
      • Advanced:
        • Ender Maiden's Shortbow
        • Empyrean Cinquedea
        • The Executioner
        • Halberd of the Omens
        • Eventide Waveblade
        • Splitwing Scissorblade
        • Tarantula Cragneedle
        • The Excalibur
  • Added Greatalloy, a mineral found underground that can be used to craft a set of armor slightly inferior to diamond in terms of Armor, but sports the highest Armor Toughness available. Tools are also craftable, with their efficiency being equivalent to gold except with high durability, although not being able to derive loot from most ores. The Greatalloy Sword is the only item in the set to sport an ability of some kind.
  • Reworked several recipes to include Greatalloy Ingots, Nuggets, or Blocks to unite every recipe and complicate their difficulty without just making it need netherite (arguably a dumb game design choice).
  • Added several new advancements for the new weapons.
  • Added villager trades to make the Shotel of Severance easier to come across from the perspective of a new player. There are plans to perhaps add a mob called the Severer or the Reaper or whatever cool word I come up with that can be came across and drops the Shote of Severance.
  • Added the Ruins of Arthur, an overworld structure that contains the Sword of the Stone, that when broken grants the user the Blade of Ruin. This item is used to craft the Excalibur, the only non-whetstone utilizing weapon. This will hopefully guide more players to the advancement menu, where the guides to how to obtain each whetstone is found.
  • Increased Attack Damage for some weapons, like the Heavenly Virtue's Shamshir and Hanakiba
  • Improved the Hanakiba's passive against undeads.
  • Fixed a gramatical error in the Dragonslayer's tooltip.
  • Improved the visual aesthetic of tooltips using bolded letters for abilities.
  • Several other tweaks and bug fixes that were lost to record in the months it took to complete this update.
  • What comes next? One can only wonder...
