🦖 ARKCraft Mod — Patch Notes (v1.4.0)

A massive new update for ARKCraft is here! We've overhauled our build infrastructure, fixed critical dedicated server crashes, expanded compatibility, and introduced brand-new survival content! 🌋

🛠️ 1. Build & Versioning Overhaul

• Dynamic Versioning: Mod versions are now dynamically assigned via gradle.properties (v1.4.0).

• File Standard: JAR outputs now strictly include the target Minecraft version:

  • arkcraft-1.20.1-1.4.0.jar

  • arkcraft-1.21.1-1.4.0.jar

💥 2. Dedicated Server Fixes

• Server Crash Resolved: Fixed the LocalPlayer / CLIENT class loading error on dedicated servers.

• Packet Handler Overhaul: Separated S2C packet execution via ClientPacketConsumer and ArkClientPacketHandler. Server-side environments are now 100% stable!

🔗 3. GeckoLib 4.8.4+ Compatibility

• Removed strict version caps for GeckoLib on 1.20.1 ([4.4.4,4.5.0) ➔ [4.4.0,)). Mod is now fully compatible with GeckoLib 4.8.4+ on CurseForge and Modrinth!

🔄 4. 1.20.1 Branch Synchronization

• Synced the 1.20.1 branch with master! All 44 creatures, custom 3D saddles, and spawn eggs are now fully playable on both 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 versions.

📜 5. Tiered Blueprint System

• Loot Chest Exclusive: Blueprints no longer drop from creatures. Found exclusively in structures (Dungeons, Mineshafts, Ancient Cities, Pyramids, etc.) with a 14% drop chance.

• 3 Blueprint Tiers:

  • 🟤 Common Blueprint: Unlocks level 1–15 Engrams.

  • 🔵 Uncommon Blueprint: Unlocks level 16–40 Engrams.

  • 🟣 Rare Blueprint: Unlocks level 41–80+ Engrams.

• Smart Unlock Mechanic: Right-click to learn an unobtained Engram instantly without spending EP! If already known, the blueprint will NOT be consumed.

• Full Localization: Native support for both English and Turkish display names based on client settings.

🦖 6. New Creature: Rock Drake!

• Visual Model: Features 7 curved head crest feathers, forearm wing plumage, dark slate scales, and glowing golden-yellow feather tips (224x224 texture).

• Animations: 12 fully reworked GeckoLib animations (fixed timeline keyframe glitches).

• Stats & Mechanics: 380 HP | 26 Attack | 12 Armor. Immune to fall and fire damage. Supports gliding and wall climbing!

• Active Camouflage (Special Key): Turn completely invisible alongside your rider for 20 seconds, granting bonus movement speed and critical damage!

• Saddle & Egg: Rock Drake Saddle added as a Level 75 Engram. Spawn Egg added to Creative. (World spawning is temporarily disabled for tuning; spawn via egg or /summon arkcraft:rock_drake)
