Magic Staffs adds mana-powered magic staffs and a complete custom 3D mage armor set to Minecraft.

Each staff has three charge levels. Holding the use button longer creates a stronger projectile. Every successful shot consumes 20 mana.

Amethyst Staff

Fires damaging magical projectiles:

Emerald Staff

Heals players, animals, and peaceful creatures:

Emerald projectiles have no effect on undead creatures.

Fire Staff

Deals no direct damage, but ignites targets:

Hitting a block with a fire projectile creates fire.

All projectiles have no gravity, travel at 10 blocks per second, and have a maximum range of 100 blocks.

The mod includes a complete armor set with custom 3D models and textures:

Mage Hat — 3.25 protection, +20 maximum mana, and +0.2 mana regeneration per second;
Mage Robe — 6.625 protection, +30 maximum mana, and +0.3 mana regeneration per second;
Mage Leggings — 5.875 protection, +20 maximum mana, and +0.2 mana regeneration per second;
Mage Boots — 3.5 protection.
