Arcane School Skill Trees

Arcane School Skill Trees is an unofficial expansion for Puffish Skills, Puffish Attributes, Pufferfish’s Unofficial Additions, and Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks.

This project adds custom RPG-style skill trees for multiple magic schools from Iron’s Spells and several compatible addons. Each school has its own progression path, visual identity, and gameplay specialization.

The goal is to make magical progression deeper, more personal, and more build-oriented in Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge modpacks.

Each tree is designed around a different playstyle, such as elemental casting, mana scaling, defensive magic, spellblade combat, summoning, shadow magic, or cosmic-themed progression.

Project Purpose

The purpose of Arcane School Skill Trees is to give each magic school a stronger identity.

Instead of treating every spell school as a simple collection of spells, this project turns each one into a dedicated specialization path. Players can invest into the school they prefer and shape their build around it.

This makes progression more meaningful in RPG-focused modpacks, especially when combined with exploration, bosses, quests, magic progression, and long-term character development.

Compatibility

This project is designed for Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge modpacks using Puffish Skills and Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks.

It does not replace the base progression systems from these mods. It adds an additional skill-tree layer for players who want more RPG-style specialization.
