Hey,
Are you playing a 1.12.2 modpack (e.g. RLcraft) and want the Update Aquatic features there? Unfortunately, these features aren’t available in 1.12.2.
Fortunately, I’ve made this mod which adds all the Update Aquatic features except the new chunk format and the new block ids into 1.12.2. For example, the mod adds the 1.13 ocean biomes and kelp, Seagrass as well as dolphins, tropical fishes, ocean ruins, shipwrecks and drowneds into 1.12.2.
You need to download and install Forge version 14.23.5.2855 or newer for 1.12.2 ONLY, otherwise the mod will not work. After installing, drag-and-drop the jar file into your „Mods“ folder. Then restart or launch your Minecraft Forge 1.12.2 client with the mod and create a new world. Now you should be able to play with the 1.13 features in 1.12.2.
Please ask me for permission BEFORE you want to use this in your 1.12.2 modpack!
