New Content
Spells
- Added "Rift Hole": An old-school portable hole.
- Added "Spectral Wings": An Elytra you can use only when you actually need it.
- Added "Auto Turret": Not quite tower defense, but still very handy.
- Added "Demi-creator Wings": A creative flight option worthy of endgame content. (Very limited, though.)
- Added "Companion Trunk": Basically a wizard's backpack.
- Added "Treasure Divination": Anti-branch-mining.
- Added "Healing Bloom": A way to survive in extreme situations.
- Added "Search Beacon": A compass mod, but it costs money.
- Added "Tamer's Pocket": For players who want to make use of their tamed horses.
- Added "Harvest Moon": It's harvest time!
- Added "Shock": If you are firing it from the tip of a staff, it had to be this one.
Items
- Added Swingcast Staff series: Cast spells by swinging your staff. That is literally it...
- Added "Isekai Travel Guidebook": A spellbook meant for the very start of the game, distributed through the bonus chest. (Can be combined with the Explorer's Codex.)
- Added Circlet Curios series: Curios-compatible versions of the Necromancer's Crown.
- Added "Comfort Berries": An early-game food obtained from Healing Bloom.
- Added "Illuminate Stellar Staff" (Fan-made Item): She illuminates you all with her magic.
- Added "Unite Luna Staff" (Fan-made Item): She unites you all with her magic.
Experimental
- Added "Spell Dispenser" (WIP, Creative Only)
- Spell Dispensers require scrolls and mana potions to function.
- Only spells with existing configuration support can be used.
- Since this is experimental, please only use it in environments where breakage will not be a problem.
- Adding support for additional spells requires datapack configuration.
- Documentation is still in progress, so for now please refer to the config files inside the jar.
- It supports Create contraptions, but spells that require continuous casting are currently intended to be controlled through Contraption Controls.
Mobs
- Added Errand Villager: A companion for players who like surviving the very early game through villages.
Changes / Tweaks
- Rebalanced spells across the board.
- Added a feature so supported spells no longer reduce movement speed while "Craftsman's Delight" is equipped.
- Changed "Craftsman's Delight" so supported spells now have reduced cooldowns while equipped. (Base cooldowns were slightly increased accordingly.)
- Changed the visual effects of "Sense Evil".
- Updated "Spellcaster Workbench" so spells can now be extracted from items added by this mod. (Other mods can also be supported through datapacks.)
- Reworked offhand items across the board.
- Added partial compatibility so Spell Amplifier can still apply even while holding Better Combat two-handed weapons.
- Adjusted loot tables so some Curios can now appear in chests.
- Adjusted enchantment availability conditions.
- Changed some Curios so they can now be crushed with GrindRunner.
- Changed Wisdom so it now also works while mining blocks.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where enchantment preview display was incorrect while wearing the "Enchantress" set in an Easy Magic environment.
- Fixed a bug where instant-effect potions would not work properly with "Spellcaster's Flask".
- Fixed a bug where some undead mobs were not detected by "Sense Evil" (1.21.1 only).
- Added upgrade support for items added by this mod that previously did not support it.
- Fixed a bug where some summoning spells were not benefiting from increased summon damage.
- Fixed a bug where additional enchantments from Malum could not be applied to supported weapons.
- Fixed a bug where spell damage amplification was not being applied correctly when Malum was installed.
- This only affects spells that bypass defense (for example, Compound Phial).
- Fixed a bug where there was no repair recipe using Spirit Crucible when Malum was installed.
