Naming

  • Renamed the Temperament Training stat to Temperament.

  • Renamed the matching item to Temperament Treat.

  • Preserved the existing backend identifier so saved horse training remains compatible.

Version 2.8.0

Training Level System

  • Every training stat remains capped at level 100.

  • Each stat now tracks XP separately within its current level.

  • Each following level requires 2 more XP than the previous level.

  • Existing horses retain their previously earned training levels.

  • Normal training activities award 10 XP.

  • Quick Learners receive 20 XP from activity.

  • Training treats provide 100 XP.

  • Locked stats cannot receive XP.

  • The dashboard displays the current level and XP progress.

  • Level-100 progress bars receive an animated enchanted shimmer.

  • Updated the multiplayer protocol to synchronize training XP safely.

Stamina Rebalance

  • Significantly increased stamina drain at low Endurance levels.

  • Endurance can now reduce stamina costs by up to 80%.

  • Gallop continues to consume 15% more stamina than Canter.

  • Jumping consumes Endurance-scaled stamina.

  • Collection now consumes stamina at Walk, Trot, and Canter.

  • Collection drain stacks with the normal Canter drain.

  • Exhausted horses automatically drop to Trot and release Collection.

Naming

  • Renamed Fear Tolerance to Temperament Training before the later shortening to Temperament in 2.8.1.

Version 2.7.2

Collection Pose Fix

  • Reworked Collection pose synchronization.

  • Removed entity pitch as the signal controlling Collection.

  • Added dedicated neutral, collected, and raised head-pose network states.

  • Nearby players can see synchronized horse poses on servers.

  • Changed model adjustments from absolute rotations to offsets from each model’s native animation.

  • Fixed the nearly vertical neck caused by replacing the models’ normal rotation values.

  • Preserved normal neck geometry and movement animations during Collection.

  • Normal head positioning returns when Collection, panic, or excitement ends.

  • Frightened horses and horses in Cow Pony mode cannot collect.

  • Entering Gallop automatically releases Collection.

Spirited Horse Reactions
