READ THIS FIRST

• The jar has a new name: avp_predator-resurrection-<loader>-1.21.1-0.1.7.jar. If you install by hand, delete the old avp_predator-... jar first, or the game finds the mod twice and will not start. The CurseForge and Modrinth apps handle this for you.
• Needs BLib 0.3.12. Update BLib, AVP Alien and AVP Human at the same time.
• Server owners: the gauntlet self-destruct is off on dedicated servers until you turn on the prednuke game rule.

Game Breaking Changes

None this release. No blocks, items or entities are removed, and world loading is unchanged.

New

THE HUNT

• Yautja Honor: players earn honor from 51 advancements across vanilla and all AVP mods. At 150 honor you become worthy of a hunt. /avp_predator honor shows yours.
• The Hunter's Moon: on a full moon a Hunter marks you. The next day brings clicks, glimpses of a cloaked yautja and a corpse left at your door. That night it attacks, taking out your turrets, golems, pets and marines first and judging you by your hotbar.
• A beaten Hunter may escape in a smoke bomb, leaving a glowing green blood trail. Follow it to finish the fight, or it returns the next night stronger.
• Hunters climb a tier ladder (Youngblood, Blooded, Elite, Elder, Clan Leader) as you win. They break blocks, grenade walls they cannot dig, and warp in if you hide too long.
• A Hunter loses armour as it is hurt, and drops one armour piece, one weapon and its armed self-destruct gauntlet, placed as a block.
• Dying to your Hunter leaves a skinned corpse holding everything you carried, other mods' inventories included. With a grave mod installed, your items go to the grave instead.
• 11 new hunt advancements.

WEAPONS

• Wrist gauntlet: wear it for wrist darts, fire pellets, nets, cloak and the self-destruct, with its own screen and key.
• Plasma caster on yautja, and a player hand caster powered by plasma cores.
• Plasma sword, plasma shuriken, plasma bow, veritanium bow, veritanium arrows and darts.
• Combi stick: an extending spear you can stab, charge and throw.
• Battleaxe with a ground slam.
• Veritanium whip: lash, or grapple to pull yourself or your target.
• Five yautja grenades: explosive, fire, sticky, freeze and irradiated.
• Nets: snare mobs; struggle free by mashing keys. Bigger mobs escape sooner.

BLOCKS AND ITEMS

• Red and grey village stone sets for the coming worshipper villages: stone, polished stone, bricks, small and rough bricks, tiles, glyph and chiseled faces, pillars and borders, with slabs, stairs and walls. As hard as steel.
• Yautja blood: glowing green splatter that dries away, and a Bottle of Yautja Blood.
• Skinned corpse container block. Yautja that kill people out of your sight leave one behind.
• Veritanium scrap.

YAUTJA

• Six tiers: Unblooded, Youngblood, Blooded, Elite, Elder and Clan Leader, with stats in yautja_tiers.json. Wild yautja are Blooded.
• Random loadouts: darts, nets, mines, whips, bows, grenades and more.
• Evasion: dodges, a fall-back dash, lunges, weaving under fire and an Adrenaline Rush when outnumbered.
• Mask-break roar that Stuns nearby players, followed by healing.
• Taunts: a laugh after worthy kills.
• Yautja plan leaps across gaps (4 blocks, 7 with a run-up), climb walls, leave water cleanly and break blocks up to stone hardness. Metal and AVP: Human industrial blocks are safe.
• New yautja sounds: idle clicks, climbing, jumps, attacks, hurt, death and roars.

COMPATIBILITY

• TACZ and Point Blank gun damage matches AVP: Human's guns.
• Gigeresque: a yautja mask blocks facehuggers.
• ReMorphed / Walkers: morphing into a yautja animates.

GAME RULES AND COMMANDS

• disableYautjaHunts turns the hunts off. /avp_predator hunt exempt excludes a player.
• gunBalancing and prednuke (gauntlet self-destruct).
• Freezing makes mobs Frozen Solid. AVP: Human owns this rule; without it a stand-in applies.

Changes

• Being killed by your Hunter costs 50 honor (never below 150) and skips your next hunt.
• Sleep is refused on the nights a Hunter attacks.
• Ranged yautja strafe and jump while closing in, and the plasma caster bolt flies faster.
• Kills by plasma drop cooked meat.
• Predator vision and the cloak draw in batches, for better frame rates.
• Yautja arrows, darts and other projectiles pass through leaves.

Bug Fixes

• A yautja's worn armour no longer stacks on top of its tier armour, which made it shrug off whole magazines. Its tier sets its armour; worn plates are cosmetic.
• /kill and other unblockable damage always work on a yautja, instead of being deflected with a block sound.
• The roar stun no longer zooms the camera.

Removed

Nothing players have.
