AkumaLib 3.0.0
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
AkumaLib 3.0.0
Devil Fruit boxes can now be changed without code. Addons, modpacks and servers choose which fruits each box (wooden, iron, golden) can give, how rare each one is, and can take any fruit out, the base mod's included, with a simple data file. The chance for a box to give a fruit of the tier above is unchanged.
Requires Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+ and Mine Mine no Mi 0.11.5. JEI and EMI are optional.
⚠️ This is a major version: update your addons with it. Addons that fill the boxes through AkumaLib now declare their fruits in data files, so InoFruits and Missing Missing no Mi need their next version (made for AkumaLib 3.0.0) for their fruits to appear in the boxes. An addon built for AkumaLib 2.x that uses one of the removed parts listed below will not start with 3.0.0.
The network protocol is unchanged (4): a 3.0.0 client can join a 2.8.0 to 2.12.0 server and the other way round. Install it on the server to use data files: the boxes are rolled there.
New
- Devil Fruit boxes from data files. A data pack or an addon puts a file in
data/<namespace>/akumalib/dfboxes/, in the same shape as the base mod's box tables, to add fruits to a box, make any fruit rarer or more common, or remove one. Several files add up, and a server's data pack has the last word. See the Devil Fruit boxes page. - A warning for fruits nobody can find. When the game starts, any Devil Fruit that ended up in no box is named in the log.
For addon makers: removed
These were marked for removal and are gone:
- the automatic box filling of
registerFruitItem, and its three-argument form: declare the fruit in a data file; AkumaLootInjection;BlockOverlayManager.addOverlay, removeOverlayandremoveAllForZone(they did nothing), and the oldSyncZoneOverlayPacketconstructor: useaddZone/removeZone;AkumaI18n.MESSAGE_MISSINGand itsakumalib.ability.missing_messagetext: useMESSAGE_MISSING_MATERIALS.
