Changed commands to be a little more streamlined (will update a few more times)

Set where players respawn if they have no bed or respawn anchor:
/function softcore:config/set_fallback_overworld_here

Set the amount of time in seconds the dead player should be in spectator:
/data modify storage softcore:state config.wait_seconds set value 600

Force player out of death early:
/function softcore:internal/resolve_respawn with entity 

to do:
add a config for players countdown to continue while offline
change respawn position according to if the bed and or anchor was broken during spectator mode.
