I found there was a severe lack of epic fight compatibility with some of my favorite mods I have created datapacks (and resourcepacks) that give epic fight compatibility withs mods such as villager recruit, human companions mod villager guards and more

Is an Epic Fight AI data pack which gives Villager Guards my custom Epic Fight Fighting package. I wanted the guards to have a simple package since they are just guards and not seasoned warriors, they will essentially rush at enemies and slash away with the epic fight animations.

No footwork required, if you want smart warriors its villager recruits you seek, these guys are just brute force and teamwork. In addition to giving them animation packages it also gears them out with simply sword weapons and Minecraft armor for immersive guard patrols

Seriously though please find my resource pack in the related project this won't function properly without it
