Description
Basic Datapack to help enable Vanilla Mob Spawn in Pixelmon 9.3.6
- Features offered by the project.
This datapack will enable vanilla mobs in Pixelmon 9.3.6, Important Note: It is recommended to delete the Villager file so that NPC's are not overwritten. This file can be found here: disable_spawn_replacement_datapack_9.3.6\data\Pixelmon\spawn_replacement\villager.json, but is included in case you DO want to add them as well. - How those features affect a user's experience: Pixelmon disabled all vanilla mobs to allow priority for the Pixelmon to spawn, by enabling vanilla mobs you can have the best of both worlds. This will NOT stop the pixelmon from spawning, but will allow both vanilla mobs (hostile and non-hostile) to spawn alongside pixelmon.
Additional Information:
Download this datapack, unzip it, and copy the entire disable_spawn_replacement_datapack_9.3.6 folder into your Datapack folder inside your world save folder. You will need to run the world at least once to generate this folder. If you are using CurseForge, just click on the 3 dots next to play and choose "Open Folder."
Then navigate to "save" and find your world folder. The datapack folder will be inside there.
To Enable Vanilla mob spawning, you will also need to adjust a config. For Neforge specifically (not sure about other modloaders if this is different), this config is found in your Modpack directory, under the 'Config/Pixelmon', you are looking for "entity.cfg"
Inside this file, change the line: allow-vanilla-mobs: false to "true"
Then load the game! If you have any issues, you can comment here or hit me up on the "Pixelmon" official Discord server, as GGrNoob.
Enjoy!
