• Items which are placement-banned are not automatically on the crafting ban list, to allow for crafting some items which can't be placed in the world, but might still be useful in crafting other not-banned items. This means that if you have an item on your placement list, you should consider also adding the same item to your crafting ban list, so that players don't spend their materials building something that they can't place in the world.
