OpenAnalytics Changelog

OpenAnalytics v1.0.01 - 02 February 2014

  • Initial release with required functionality added
  • Added "/analytics admin" command for setting config parameters in game
  • Added "/anaytics optout" and "/analytics optin" to allow players to opt out/in
  • Added permissions relating to these commands
  • Refactored all common code out to NyvariaComponents library
  • Added support for SignShop (not sure if Google Analytics is picking it up correctly)
  • Added pretty player names, world names, etc

The location of tracked hits currently all arrive as from your server IP address. This is due to a limitation in the Google Analytics Measurement Protocol. However, a fix for this limitation has been noted by someone from Google as coming soon. For more information, view this Google Groups post.

Also, I have only recently (today) added SignShop integration. I can confirm that it is all hooking properly and submitting the e-commerce hits to Google Analytics. However, I can't see any e-commerce hits showing up yet. That might just be the day lag involved in some things showing in Google Analytics.
