This update includes new ways to personalize your AI assistant, as well as under-the-hood improvements for more robust and dynamic AI behavior.
 
✨ New Features
  • Custom AI Name & Personality: Yes, you can now give your AI a name and distinct identity! Use the new /nex-config custom commands to define its name and personality.
    • /nex-config custom name <your-custom-name>: Change the name the AI uses.
    • /nex-config custom prompt <personality-description>: Configure a custom personality prompt.
    • /nex-config custom reset: Resets the name and personality to default "Nexa".
    • /nex-config custom show: View your current custom settings.
    • (Note: On multiplayer servers, these commands are for operators only.)
  • Dynamic AI Behavior: Now it fetches base prompts from a remote source, so improvements in AI can be applied without updating the mod.
Improvements
  • The AI will now use its custom name for all chat messages.
  • Whenever you change either the name or personality of the AI, your entire chat history will be automatically cleared for a fresh conversation.
  • The reliability of the locate tool has been improved due to better retry logic.
