What is Reskillable?

Reskillable is a skill progression addon that transforms your survival experience into RPG. Every tool you swing, every block you mine, and every enemy you defeat contributes to your journey. Gear is no longer free... you earn it.

How It Works

When you first spawn, you'll receive a Skill Book. You can craft one anytime using a Book + Feather. Interacting it opens your Skills menu, where all 8 skills and your active job are displayed.

Skills level up using your vanilla XP. Earn XP by doing activities tied to each skill, spend it to level up through the menu. Every 2 levels you earn 1 Skill Point, which can be spent on unlocking Traits (passive abilities that give you unique powers.)

The max level for every skill is 32.

Mining

Gates your pickaxe progression and ore access.

Jobs System

Every player can choose an active Job that determines which activity grants them XP:

Mining - Breaking ores
Building - Placing blocks
Attack - Killing Mobs
Defense - Taking damage
Gathering - Chopping/collecting
Farming - Harvesting Crops

Jobs have their own level (up to a cap) that scales an XP bonus up to +12% at max job level. You can switch jobs, but there's a 30 minute cooldown between changes. Your job level persists and grows independently per job.

Traits

Traits are passive unlockable abilities purchased with Skill Points. Each has a level requirement and a point cost.

Mining Traits

Obsidian Smasher (Lv 9, 4pts) - While holding a Diamond pickaxe and looking at obsidian, you gain Haste V automatically.
Fossil Digger (Lv 6, 2pts) - 10% chance to drop an extra Coal when mining Coal Ore (Iron+ pickaxe, no Silk Touch).

Gathering Traits

Drop Guarantee (Lv 8, 4pts) - Guarantees rare mob drops (e.g. Wither Skeleton skull, Blaze rod) that don't always drop.
Lucky Fisherman (Lv 6, 3pts) - While your fishing rod is cast, you permanently have Luck I, increasing fishing loot quality.

Farming Traits

Wheat-a-Plenty (Lv 12, 6pts) - 10% chance to drop a bonus Wheat when harvesting fully grown wheat without Silk Touch.
Green Thumb (Lv 16, 8pts) - Crops within 6 blocks of you grow faster. Every second, 6 random nearby blocks are checked and advanced one growth stage.
Hungry Farmer (Lv 4, 2pts) - Automatically consumes food from your inventory when you're hungry.

Building Traits

Perfect Recover (Lv 10, 5pts) - Breaking Glowstone always drops 4 Glowstone Dust (full block value). Breaking Sea Lanterns always drops 5 Prismarine Shards + 4 Prismarine Crystals.
Transmutation (Lv 14, 7pts) - Right-clicking a block with a Chorus Fruit in hand converts it into a related block (stone variants, wood types, etc.), consuming one fruit per use.

Attack Traits

Battle Spirit (Lv 8, 4pts) - Killing a hostile mob grants Strength I for 6 seconds.
Neutralissse (Lv 12, 6pts) - Hitting a Creeper stops it from exploding for 2 seconds. The suppression refreshes on each hit.

Defense Traits

Undershirt (Lv 10, 5pts) - When a single hit would kill you outright (from above 3 hearts), the killing blow is completely cancelled and you survive at 0.5 hearts. 10-second cooldown.
Effect Twist (Lv 8, 4pts) - When hit by a non-player mob, 50% chance to reflect a negative version of one of your current positive effects onto the attacker (e.g. your Speed becomes Slowness on them). 1-second cooldown per attacker.

Agility Traits

Road Walk (Lv 4, 2pts) - Walking on Grass Paths grants Speed I automatically. Deactivates instantly when you step off.
Hill Walker (Lv 8, 4pts) - Automatically steps up 1-block obstacles without jumping while walking on the ground.
Sidestep (Lv 16, 8pts) - Quickly tapping left or right strafe twice (or using the button input) launches you sideways in a dodge roll with a 0.5-second cooldown. Cannot dodge while sneaking, swimming, flying, or gliding.

Magic Traits

Safe Port (Lv 12, 6pts) - Throwing an Ender Pearl grants a 2-second immunity window after landing. Any damage taken during that window (up to 8 HP) is fully negated and healed back.
Golden Osmosis (Lv 16, 8pts) - All equipped golden items (tools, weapons, armor) are automatically repaired using your XP levels over time.

Admin Commands

/reskillable:skills - Open your Skills menu. Available to all players.

/reskillable:jobs - Open the Job selection menu. Available to all players.

/reskillable:setskill <player> <skill> <level> - Set a specific skill to any level for the target player. Admin only.

/reskillable:addxp <player> <skill> <amount> - Add XP directly to a skill for the target player. Admin only.

/reskillable:setpoints <player> <amount> - Set a player's skill points to a specific amount. Admin only.

/reskillable:reset <player> - Fully reset all skills, traits, and points for the target player. Admin only.

/reskillable:config - Open the lock configuration menu. Requires the admin tag.
