EDITED VANILLA RECIPES (ADVANCED)

Some vanilla recipes have been modified or added thanks to new features included in this add-on.

• Now it's possible to create the Chainmail Armor thanks to the new item: "Chainmail"

The Chainmail Armor cost a total of 18 Iron Ingots with this recipe (since it has a ratio of 80% compared to Iron Armor), after obtained the Chainmail item, simply craft the armor like every other minecraft armor.

• Is it too easy to craft the game's main item, the Crafting Table, right?
Well, thanks to this add-on, it will now be more difficult to craft one, at least in the beginning of the game, becoming a precious item not to be left everywhere.

From now you can't break logs with your bare hands, only with axes.

But don't worry, to obtain it in the beginning, you need a couple of new tools:

The knife! More specifically, a Flint Knife:

The first axe you can ever craft, a Flint Axe:

Both are sharper than stone but more fragile than wood, so the survival challenge starts right from the beginning.

As you can see, to craft the Flint Axe you need of a new item, it is a Grass Blade.

To obtain it you have to break the grass you find on grass blocks with the Flint Knife. You can obtain 1 from Short Grass and 2 from Tall Grass.

• Thanks to the new ingredient, Grass Blade, now it's possible to compact sticks together to have more free space into the inventory, you can compact 4 of them into a Sticks Bundle, this is the recipe:

• With the new recipe ingredient, Flour, we can increase the level of reality even further, now to obtain Flour you will need to use a new tool: Pestle (available in stone, iron and diamond)

crafting for Mortar With these tools, you can obtain powders more realistically, and since they're tools, they have a durability:

Stone = 4
Iron = 8
Diamond = 16

But how do you do it?
Place the Mortar on the ground, place what you want to powder inside (up to 3 times), and then click on it with the Pestle. You will gain the needed powder and the Pestle will lose durability as you use it.

Every time you crush something into the mortar, you receive 3 dust of what you crushed.
NOTE: by doing a quick calculation, while before you had to use 24 diamonds for the entire diamond armor, now with this method you will only need 18, however the system balances out because you will need more diamonds to craft the tools, making every diamond object a precious item.

In reality, diamond tools aren't just made of diamond; they're basically metal tools coated with diamond dust, so... To make all the diamond tools look more realistic, I added the ability to crush diamond in a mortar to obtain Diamond Dust. Only another diamond can be used to crush diamond, so to obtain Diamond Dust, you'll need to use the Diamond Pestle.
⚠️WARNING After using the Diamond Pestle in this recipe, it will lose half its durability, so it will be destroyed after only two uses to crush diamond.
⚠️WARNING If you use a pestle of lower quality than the diamond one to crush diamond, it will have no effect other than breaking the pestle.

At this point you can craft diamond tools and armor using iron tools and armor as a base.
This is a generic recipe of how to craft a diamond item/armor, place the iron version of the object you want to turn into a diamond in the center, then surround it with Diamond Dust:

NEW BLOCKS

This add-on also implements new blocks.

⚠️WARNING

If you install this add-on in an existing world you may not see blocks spawning in the world, in which case you need to move to chunks that have never been loaded into the world yet.

• What's that shiny thing sticking out of the sand? Salt? I wonder what kind of applications it has..

You can find it resurfaced in small formations in beach or ocean biomes. By digging this block of Salt Sand you can obtain up to 3 Salt, it will be useful for the recipes.

COOKING RECIPES

It's time to turn Steve into a chef! In this add-on the recipes of some foods change, making cooking a process step.

NEW INGREDIENTS

• Flour (obtained by crushing the Wheat in the functional block Mortar with a Pestle)

• Salt (obtained by digging the Salt Sand block)

RECIPE BOOK

• Sniff sniff... Bread? Let's make some! We need Flour, Water, and Salt, then we mix, bake, and voilà! BREAD!

To be able to make Bread we follow a more realistic way in this addon now:

• First thing first we need all the ingredients to make the Savory Dough [2 Flour, 1 Water Bottle, 1 Salt]

Installation Guide

FIRST INSTALLATION: Follow the steps

UPDATING THE ADD-ON: I strongly recommend to do the step 3 after downloading the new version

Download the latest 'RealisticRecipes.mcaddon' file.
Double click on it and choose Minecraft to open it, the game will automatically open and import the add-on.
IF THE GAME GIVES YOU IMPORTING ERRORS: It means that you already have this add-on installed. Into the game go into 'Settings>Storage' and delete the current version of this add-on, then close the game and redo step 2.
