Today i am bringing you a really chaotic and fun behavior pack for your minecraft worlds. If you watch a lot of youtube gaming videos you have probably seen those challenges where people play minecraft but the mob drops are completely random. Like you kill a pig and instead of porkchop it drops a diamond block or an elytra.

I always wanted to play that kind of challenge with my friends on my own server but i could never find a good addon that actually includes every single item in the game. Most of them only drop basic blocks. So i took a lot of time and coded the ultimate RR Random Drops addon. This pack literally takes over 500 items from the game including rare blocks, music discs, spawn eggs, enchanted apples and armor, and makes them drop randomly whenever you kill any mob.

How The Random Loot Works

The system is very simple but extremely addictive. You just walk up to any mob in the game like a cow or a zombie or a creeper and you kill it. The moment the mob dies my custom script completely overrides the normal vanilla drops. Instead it rolls a random number and gives you a completely random item from the massive list of everything in minecraft.

It also randomizes the amount. Sometimes you will kill a skeleton and get 1 piece of dirt, but sometimes you will kill a chicken and get 20 blocks of ancient debris or 15 ender pearls. You literally never know what you are going to get. It makes every single mob in the game super valuable because even a small silverfish could potentially drop a netherite sword or a totem of undying.

Rare Drops And Lucky Bonuses

Because getting random junk like grass blocks can get boring after a while i added a rarity system. The script actually knows which items are extremely rare like beacons, heavy cores, god apples, elytras and nether stars. If you get lucky and the game gives you one of these rare items, a massive RARE DROP title will flash on your screen with a loud totem sound. It also prints it in the chat so your friends can see that you just got a super overpowered drop from killing a spider.

I also coded a lucky bonus feature. Every time you kill a mob there is a secret 2 percent chance that the loot gods just bless you and give you an extra stack of rare items on top of your normal drops. It feels like hitting a jackpot on a casino machine.

Ranks And Milestone Gifts

To give you a reason to keep grinding and killing mobs i added a full progression system. The game silently tracks every single kill you make. You start off as a Novice Hunter. But as you get more kills you rank up to Hunter, Slayer, Elite, Legendary and finally the GOD SLAYER rank at 1000 kills. Every time you rank up the whole server gets an announcement in the chat. But it is not just titles. The game actually gives you free milestone gifts.

When you hit 50 kills it instantly gives you free diamonds. At 100 kills you get an emerald block and at 1000 kills you get a full netherite block as a reward for your dedication. There are also some really funny easter egg messages if you happen to stop at exactly 69 kills or 404 kills or 666 kills but i will let you discover those secret messages yourself.

The UI Menu And Leaderboard

You dont have to memorize your ranks or your kills because i built a custom UI menu to track everything. All you have to do is hold a normal Book in your hand and sneak. It instantly opens the Random Drops stats panel. Inside this menu you can see your exact kill count, your current rank, how many total items you have generated, and it even remembers your absolute Best Drop forever. So if you got a dragon egg yesterday, the menu will show that as your best drop.

There is also a live Leaderboard tab in the menu where you can see all the players on your server and exactly how many kills they have. It turns the game into a massive competition to see who can farm the most mobs and get the best loot. Oh and sometimes randomly while playing you might see a Loot Frenzy event message pop up in the chat saying the loot gods are generous today.

Beta APIs Setup

Since this pack completely relies on background scripts to track your individual kills using dynamic properties, detect rare items, and open the custom book menu, you absolutely must turn on the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings before you play.

If you dont turn it on the mobs will just drop their normal boring vanilla items and the book menu wont open at all. So please remember to check your world settings.
