Nazarick Graves v0.4.2 — Stack & XP Hotfix

🛠️ Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where items could stop stacking correctly after installing Nazarick Graves.

• Removed the permanent Keep on Death property previously applied to player items.

• Fixed the unwanted “Keep on Death” item behavior/tooltip.

• Added automatic cleanup for items affected by older versions of the addon.

• Fixed a major issue where XP was stored inside the grave while vanilla XP orbs were also dropped, allowing players to recover more experience than they originally had.

⚰️ Grave System Improvements

• Reworked the item protection system.

• Items are now captured directly from the player's death drops instead of modifying every item in the inventory.

• Existing items already lying on the ground before the player's death are ignored.

• If grave creation fails, vanilla item drops are preserved instead of being removed.

• Improved compatibility with:

  • Custom items

  • Enchanted equipment

  • Renamed items

  • Damaged tools

  • Items from other addons

✨ XP System Improvements

• Increased the XP detection radius around the death location.

• Increased the monitoring period after death to catch delayed vanilla XP orbs.

• Added multiple additional XP cleanup checks during the first seconds after death.

• Improved detection of XP orbs generated specifically by the player's death.

• XP orbs that already existed before the player's death are preserved.

• Added additional safeguards against XP duplication.

⚙️ Technical Changes

• Replaced the previous inventory-wide Keep on Death protection architecture with a death-drop interception system.

• Added additional safeguards for multiplayer and addon compatibility.

• Preserved the existing grave ownership, tracking, localization, guide, Vibrant Visuals support and Nazarick Seasons compatibility systems.

🔄 Updating from Older Versions

Players upgrading from v0.4.1 or earlier will have old Nazarick Graves Keep on Death properties cleaned from currently held items when entering the world.

This update is strongly recommended for all players and servers using previous versions of Nazarick Graves.
