What's new

BlockBuste Studio — v4.5.0

Major Update #02 · Minecraft Bedrock · Behavior + Resource Pack

Record multi-track performances, scrub keyframes, drive cinematic cameras, build triggered scenes, and get help from Vegapunk — the in-world AI assistant. Use /bb help in-game for commands.

★ Highlights

  • Vegapunk AI — errors, tutorials, scene help, unique lines, One Piece–style tone
  • Track Editor — renamed from Timeline Editor; reshape, keyframes, groups, triggers
  • Scene Builder — multi-track scenes, delays, position/item triggers, concurrent scenes
  • Keyframe Scrubber — animation, particle, sound, command, scale, transform, name changer
  • 20 default actor skins — player-layout bb:skin1–bb:skin20
  • No-brain puppets — bbnb:* summonable cinema mobs
  • Block / explosion recovery — per-track place/break, TNT-aware restore
  • Leash · fishing · hits · block data — signs, chests, frozen targets, multi-leash

✦ New Features

Vegapunk AI & Commands

  • /bb ai <topic> — friend-style helper for errors, scenes, tutorials, and more
  • Explains geometry, animation, texture, Molang, scripting, and scene issues in chat
  • Large unique message pool · excuses when a fix is outside the pack (points to CurseForge author)
  • Reactions when popular modded entities are chosen as actors (tone only)
  • Tutorial conducted by Vegapunk on first join and via /bb tutorial
  • Short command family: /bb give · rec · play · stop · help · changelog
  • Argument hints in help (e.g. /bb ai [topic])

Track Editor & Scene Builder

  • Timeline Editor → Track Editor rename across UI, tutorial, and AI
  • Reshape: Duplicate · Merge · Delay · Speed · Trim · Invert Trim · Reverse · Loop
  • Keyframe list menus + transforms; organize with Track Groups / Loop Region
  • Scene Builder: create scenes, manage tracks (multi-select), per-track start delays
  • Triggers: position (xyz + radius) or main-hand item (toggle)
  • Rising-edge triggers — scene plays to the end even if you leave the zone / drop the item
  • Concurrent scenes: trigger Scene 2 while Scene 1 is running
  • Shared tracks stay on the live run; only new tracks of the second scene start
  • World block restore waits until the longest active scene track finishes
  • Per-track triggers also available from Track Editor
  • Deleting a track removes it from all scenes so a reused track number is not auto-readded

Keyframe Scrubber

  • Play Animation — custom ID search first; full vanilla list + armor-stand poses (no player GUI anims)
  • Options: next_state · blend_out_time · stop_expression · controller · start/end frames · repeat toggle
  • Particle — custom ID first; large vanilla catalog; position + options; impulse or repeat range
  • Sound — type-ahead (e.g. “zombie”); pitch/volume ramps; impulse or repeat
  • Command — run as the actor; optional repeating window with start/end frames
  • Mob Transform — type-ahead entity picker (same as actor selection)
  • Scale — start/end frames, scale size, transition / blend time
  • Name Changer — nametag at frame (supports § colour codes)
  • Attach Cam keyframe — switch attach target mid-track
  • Menu order configurable in config.js

Actors · Skins · No-Brain Mobs

  • 20 player-layout default skins: bb:skin1 … bb:skin20
  • Skin selector uses skin PNGs as icons; spawn-egg textures included
  • Player-style animation, gliding, swimming; wearable armour visible on skins
  • Can take damage; scalable where supported
  • No-brain cinema puppets bbnb:* (golems, warden, dragon, illagers, etc.)
  • Summon helpers: line-up commands for default / baby variants
  • Custom mob ID type-ahead for vanilla + studio IDs
  • Remove actor when track completes toggle (actor name page + Track Editor multi-select)

Camera

  • Smoother attach-cam motion; FOV changes blend smoothly
  • Presets refreshed — fewer duplicates, more unique framings
  • Cinematic first-person style presets (OptiFine-like feel): cinematic · sprint · stealth · immersive
  • Extra free cinematic / free-cam preset category (chunk-stable attach)
  • Attach-cam keyframes to move the camera between actors

Recording · Blocks · Combat · Props

  • Per-track / frame-aware block place & break (cleaner multi-track & multiplayer recording)
  • Chunked block snapshots — large soft caps, fewer DP crashes / watchdog hangs
  • TNT / explosion-aware restore — original broken blocks preferred over temporary placed blocks
  • Block entity data: sign text; chest / barrel / shulker / hopper / dropper / dispenser contents
  • Leash: record attach/detach; multi-mob leashes; pre-spawn + freeze at attach cells
  • Fishing rod on actors: force-equip, cast/reel, splash FX
  • Hit targets pre-spawned & frozen until the hit lands; softer knockback
  • Dropped items near actors pulled to head height then removed
  • Resume recording can sync other tracks from the resume frame
  • Projectile record/playback from recorded muzzle + impulse

Path Visualizer

  • Per-track coloured glowing path dots (low lag, denser spacing)
  • Does not keep emitting under a standing player for long idle periods

◆ Improvements

  • Studio Controller / Track Editor dashboards tightened for easier scrolling
  • Back closes current page; ✕ closes the whole menu
  • Keyframe list editing opens the correct entry (not always the last sound/particle/etc.)
  • Actor names support § colour codes; double-nametag stacking reduced
  • Nametag visibility toggle without losing the stored text
  • Actor health resets cleanly on play / pause / resume / stop
  • Actors stay put after playback (controlled freeze) instead of full AI wander
  • Vanilla suggestion catalogs expanded for particles (~200+), sounds (~600+), animations
  • Custom ID / search sits at the top for animation, particle, sound, and mob pickers
  • Config.js menu ordering + richer comments for directors who rearrange UI
  • RP/BP linked so enabling one helps pair the other (shared dependency UUIDs)
  • AI, tutorial, and changelog copy kept in sync with renames and new tools

✓ Fixes

  • Concurrent scenes: second scene now spawns actors correctly while the first is still playing
  • Shared track (e.g. Track 03 in Scene 1 & 2) is not restarted; only new tracks of Scene 2 start
  • Deleted tracks purged from every scene/group — new recording with the same number is not auto-added
  • Multi-leash: each attach picks a unique unused target by position (not always the first cow)
  • Block data finalize on stop before world restore — signs/chests keep text & inventory on playback
  • Hit targets remain frozen until the recorded hit; fishing rod not wiped mid-cast by item sync
  • Explosion recovery no longer restores temporary redstone/TNT over the original stone (etc.)
  • Blocks broken during recording no longer “ghost-restore” wrong ownership across tracks
  • Playback pipeline “no valid actor sessions” and several SyntaxError / UI form crashes
  • Molang safety on skins / bbnb client entities (invalid queries, pre_animation braces, materials)
  • Path particles facing / invalid face_camera_mode cleaned up
  • Camera math recovered after experimental FPP/TPP preset work was removed
  • Spectator scoping on camera path preview/play applied correctly
  • Various Track Editor merge/duplicate and dashboard reference errors

− Removed / Not Included

  • Real player as actor (gamertag control / input lock) — use skins or mobs instead
  • Viral creator-entity shortcuts (Dream, Technoblade, etc.)
  • Experimental FPP/TPP preset experiment (camera math restored; cinematic FP presets remain)
  • Actions & Stuff full asset ship — optional subpack references only when that pack is present

ℹ Notes

  • Re-record older takes if you need sign/chest data, multi-leash, or fishing events captured under 4.5.0 rules.
  • Command-block command strings and full item-frame NBT remain limited by the current Script API.
  • Enable both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack. Linked UUIDs help them enable together.
  • Hidden easter eggs are intentional and not listed as formal features.
