Abyssal Ascent has so many new content starting off with the 3 base layers of the End

Void Layer: Void Layer is at the bottom of the dimension, it has several Minecraft Dungeons mobs inside of it (more on those later) and a new ore called Ascendant, it has its own woodset as well
(NOTE: Fog will be obstructive here if you do not have a Void Pendant which is obtained in the End Trial Chambers)

Normal End Layer: this is the middle layer and has the most content, including 3 biomes and several ores and mobs for you to mine and fight

Clouded Layer: this is the highest layer and has the least amount of content, its the main source of Sapphire Ore and has a bunch of cloud related plants and blocks

BIOMES:

Endra Forest: the Endra forest has two mobs, the Endra Mooshroom and Endra Bijaw, it also has its own woodset

Distorted Forest: This biome is an exact copy of the Endra Forest Aside from the trees in the biome

Chorus Grove: This is another forest biome, however you can EAT THE TREES, the trees are made out of edible chorus sticks, theres a lot of new plants and shulker mobs in here

Arkose Peaks: Arkose Peaks are mountain ranges made up of mostly Arkose Blocks, which is the Ends version of stone, only 2 mobs spawn here, Evupuls and Final Skeletons:

Lavender Fields: This Biome is similar to the normal end, except instead of normal end stone, its cobbled end stone, which acts similar to farmland and is used to grow End Crops (note you need the crops to be in the End for them to grow)

End Wilds: The End Wilds are a biome consisting of several Golden Plants and End Sand (used to get glass in the End)

Abyssal Swamp: Abyssal Swamp is filled with water and fish, a great place for you to go to fish (yes theres new loot for fishing in the end as well)

Astral Infection: the Astral Infection is a star-themed place that replaces most of the end stone in the surrounding area with astral themed blocks, it has tons of extremely dangerous mobs inside it and a brand new miniboss

STRUCTURES:

Ender Chamber: The Ender Chamber is an End version of the Trial Chamber, this structure has 2 parts of it, the Upper part which is named Appraisal Layer (also has its own key for vaults) has weaker loot, it has one exclusive item and thats the Ender Mirror, which teleports you to the main end island no matter where you are in the minecraft world, the lower part is the Dragonic Layer, this has way better loot but much stronger mobs (also has its own key)

Ruined End Portal: this place is guarded by Dragonfolk (more on them later) this place has an end portal in the center of it thats deactivated, you can use any spare eyes of ender to reactivate it and leave the end without needing to find an End Gateway

Dragonfolk City: The Dragonfolk City is a giant structure thats filled to the brim with loot, however heavily guarded by Dragonfolk, Dragonfolk Brutes and Elytra Mobs, this structure has many rooms and places to explore, the best loot is on the highest floor of the structure, it contains blocks of diamonds, gold, emerald and modded materials

Dragon Bastion: This place is similar to the city, its much smaller however and has less loot, but is guarding a tamable ender dragon pet (tamable with Ender Dragon Fruit, found in Dragonfolk Cities)

Voided Soul Blacksmith: this structure contains the Soul Forge, which is used for a lot of the crafting in this addon

Void Pope Church: this structure contains the spawn block for the Void Pope (place an ascendant block on top of the spawn block to summon Void pope)

End Ruins: Ruins are randomly scattered across the End, theyre similar to ocean ruins, you dig around them and find the treasure, they also have a Crystal which is used for potion brewing and throwing knives:

Misc Structures:

END AURORA: End Aurora is a weather event that spawns bright colorful lights in the sky for you to watch!

MOBS:

Elytra Mob: Elytra mobs are friends with another mob (Dragonfolk) they can spawn with either an enchanted sword or Dragons Breath Bombs, theyre neutral to the player, unless a nearby dragonfolk targets you or you hurt one of the Dragonfolk or the Elytra mob itself, they drop Elytra Feathers

Evupul: This mob comes in 2 different colors, theyre a passive mob that you can ride, you cannot control this mob, they just fly around randomly, they drop Evupul Wings

(the golden one spawns in the Clouded Layer and the other one spawns in the Normal End Layer)

(Dark one is hostile and spawns in the Void Layer)

End Mooshrooms: End mooshrooms function identially to mooshrooms except they give a different stew when milked, they drop Ender Tomahawks and End leather

Bijaws: Bijaws are flying teeth creatures that attack you for 8 damage

Blastling: Blastlings launch purple pulses at you, they drop Ender Pearls and Gunpowder

Snareling: Snarelings Shoot a Web at you that locks your camera onto the nearest Snareling, then the Snareling runs up to you and starts doing melee damage to you, they drop Ender Pearls and String

Watchling: The Watchling is a melee mob who has supersonic speeds, they also broadcast that theyre attacking something to all nearby Watchlings, they do randomly backoff of you too, they drop Ender pearls

Lurkerling: The lurkering is similar to the Watchling but much stronger

Endersent, this is the strongest of the Enderlings, having over 200 health points, it also deals splash damage to nearby mobs and players:

Dragonfolk: Dragonfolk can be partered with, they barter with this ore called Larimar, its found all throughout the middle part of the End, they get mad at you when you dont have a piece of either End Leather Armor or Molybdenum Armor, they do have a brute version that spawns exclusively in structures

Guritavoid: these jellyfish like mobs are neutral and when provoked launch powerful explosives at the thing that hit them

Shulk: Shulk is similar to a golem except hostile and inflicts levitation (credit to ForgeLogical for the assets)

Flying Shulker: Flying Shulkers shoot shulker bullets and fly, nothing else to say really (Credit to Forgelogical for the Assets)

Astral Assassin: Astral Assassins are very fast humanoid like mobs that do rapid slashes on nearby players

Astral Orbiter: Astral Orbiters are flying melee mobs that teleport you on hit:

Eternal Iris: Eternal Iris's spawn from a 1 out of 8 chance from an eye of ender being used, they shoot projectiles at you and fly, each time they shoot, they teleport to a different position

Miniboss: Astral Golem, the Astral Golem has several attacks that summon monolith-like projectiles out of the ground to attack you, he drops a staff that allows you to do his same attacks

Bossfight: Gernus, the Void Pope, he has tons of unique attacks and drops the Ascendant Forging template, (spawned at the Void Pope Church with a block of Ascendant on the middle block)

Mob Varients:

Ender Creeper: Same as the normal Creeper but can teleport and has a shorter fuse

Ender Slime: Higher HP and Damage, splits instantly

Final Skeleton: Shoots Ender Pearl Throwing Knives instead of arrows through a bow

Blushie Blaze: shoots powerful magic at the player

Endra and Distorted Creakings: Killable creakings that teleport and have a more strict looking range

Ender Chicken and Cow: lifestock

ITEMS:

Note every set of items shown has 2 new weapon types

Longswords: Longswords when you interact with them they have a spin attack that damages anything in a 2 block radius, they do 1 less damage than a sword

War Hammers: War Hammers when you hit something, they send out a shock wave in the direction of the mob you hit, each shockwave spawned is dependant on the warhammers damage, for every 2 damage it gains a shockwave, each new shockwave is weaker than the last one

Sapphire items: Same stats as diamond except for 2 pieces of armor (helmet and boots)

Molybdenum items: Same stats as iron items

Nether Quarts Items: Same stats as Diamond but slightly worse durability

Enduranium Items: Enduranium items are the upgrade to diamond items and the alternative to Netherite, the forging template is found in End Cities and the Debris is found in the middle layer of the End, its immune to explosions so you can bed mine for it

Dragonite Items: Dragonite is the Upgrade to Sapphire items, the Forging template is rarely dropped by Dragonfolk Brutes, the Dragonscale items are found in structures and dropped by the ender dragon when you attack the dragon corpse it drops when it dies

Amethyst Items: Amethyst Items are the upgrade to Nether Quartz Items, the Forging template can be found in any structure in the End except End Cities and the End Trial Chamber

Ascendant Items: Ascendant is an ore found rarely inside of the Void Layer, Dropped by Endersent mobs or found in structures, the Forging Template is dropped by the Broken Heart of Ender Boss on Death

Arkose Items: Arkose has the same durability as stone but same damage and mining time as iron, the Arkose block itself can be used as Stone and can make items such as Furnaces

Blushie Items: Blushie has the same stats as Iron, except with one twist, theyre all 5x more effective against modded blocks:

Stardust Items: Stardust items have the same stats as Dragonite items, except have far less durability than them:

Astral Monolith Items: Same stats as diamond but lower durability

End Leather Armor: End Leather has the exact same stats as iron armor and is dyable just like normal leather armor (middle set is undyed)

Calibrated Ender Pearls: you can upgrade your ender pearls with crystals found in the end dimension, each one gives it a unique upgrade
Amethyst: Makes the pearl do 6 damage whenever you hit an entity with it
Cloud Crystal: Makes the pearl not affected by gravity, which makes it travel to wherever your curser is aiming Ender Crystal: Makes it so the pearls stack to 32 instead of 16

Void Crystal: makes it so the pearl has 300% faster speed

Evupul Gliders: these items make it so you can fly upwards when you look directly up, your also given perminant slowfalling whenever these are on:

MISC FEATURES AND CHANGES TO VANILLA GAME:

Elytra Darts - Mounts the Player on the dart and you fly on it in whereever direction you threw said dart

End Crystal Spears - Throwable spears that deal splash and pierce damage

Jade and Blushie Caltrops - Throwable spikes

Chrono Bomb - Throw a black hole (literally)

Void Pendant - makes void fog less obstructive

Wand of Dimensional Rest - allows you to set and remove your spawn at will and in any dimension

Ascendant Mirror - remote access to the End Dimension (overworld if your already in the End)

Rework to the Ender Dragon Bossfight

Changed the Eye of Ender recipe to require Echo Shards and Wind charges

Reverted some changes to potion colors made in the 1.20 update

Shulker Shells make Launch potions when brewed

Eyes of Ender make Return potions (teleports you to your spawn) when brewed

Dabloons make haste potions when brewed

Blushie bark makes Healthboost Potions when brewed

Dragonscales make Resistance potions when brewed

Elytra Feathers make Potions of Acceleration

Glistening Ender Melons make Potions of Rejuvenation

Blushie Powder make Potions of Leverage

Glimmerstone Dust upgrades gimmicky potions AKA potions that dont give potion effects and instead do an action (Example: Potion of Launch)
