This mod adds two shields to your game—one made of coal and the other of sand—but I wouldn't underestimate the sand one; it can do anything at any moment.
There is a diamond mace in this mod; crafting it is really difficult because it kills everything in a single hit. If you download it, you'll see just how hard it is—I can't really explain it here. :)
