Adds weapons created from monsters of orbis

Description



Wild Variants adds unique weapons inspired by the monsters of orbis, changing how each archetype is played while also polishing & balancing some of the mobs that inspired them. These weapons are not direct upgrades in the progression system, instead they offer alternative playstyles, allowing you to experience your favorite weapon types in new ways while wielding gear crafted from Orbis’ most dangerous fauna.

Our weapons are currently balanced around being alternative counterparts to Adamantite gear, offering different combat styles rather than stronger stats. We want to add the feeling of wonder to Hytale's exploration and progression, creating unique drops from monster that allows players to craft unique weapons.

As Hytale evolves, Wild Variants will expand along with the game's progression, if the developers add a new poisonous monster, that might be the perfect opportunity for us to create a stronger poison dagger variant with a new look.


These daggers sacrifice base damage in exchange for powerful poison effects, Perfect for players who prefer damage over time and aggressive mobility.

Weapon Abilities
• Primary Attacks applies a poison effect, increasing its duration with each hit
• Charged Attacks launches you forward in a spinning dash, dealing increased damage to poisoned enemies
• Signature Ability briefly transforms you in to a spinning poison blossom, rapidly striking enemies applying a stronger poison with shorter duration 

Monster Changes
• Added a alerted animation for the Snapdragon that is played when it gets aggro from a player
• Snapdragons now drop Poisonous Chitin, used to craft the Snapdragon Daggers!


A shield designed for players who prefer offense over pure defense, allowing you to reposition quickly, disrupt enemies, and create space in the middle of combat.

Weapon Abilities
• Guard Bash becomes a forward dash, allowing you to punish enemy positioning with a higher stamina cost
• Guarding
doesnt consume your stamina, but instead reduces damage done to your health

Monster Changes
• Added a new Headbutt attack for the Firesteel Golem
• Simplified the attack sequences of the Firesteel Golem
• Increased the damage and knockback of the Firesteel Golem's attacks
• Firesteel Golems now drop Firesteel Ingots, used to craft the Firesteel Shield!


This staff focuses on commanding the battlefield and less on raw power, a perfect choice for players who enjoy summoner-style gameplay.

Weapon Abilities
• Primary Attacks charge a Void Blast that automatically launches once you reach full charge
• Signature Ability impacts the ground with your staff, knocking enemies away and summoning 3 void crawlers to your aid
Each cast of your Signature adds more crawlers to your ever growing swarm!

Monster Changes
• Added light emission to the Void Blast attack from Void Eye
• Void Eyes now rarely drop Void Eye Tentacle, used to craft the Void Eye Staff!
