Cosmetic backpacks/quivers! Like in the trailer!
I am very confident that the dev team will inevitably add these in a much more user-friendly way, as all the models and textures are already set up for implementation. But I wanted to accessorize now. SO!
This adds 6 styles of backpack to the armour crafting bench:
- Standard Large Backpack
- Small Backpack
- Enormous Merchant Backpack
- Goblin Style Lobber Pack
- Goblin Style Copper Miner Pack
- Goblin Style Iron Miner Pack
+ An Arrow Quiver
Each style has a version that takes up one armour slot, so for now, you'll have to sacrifice an armour piece. I recommend either the helmet or gloves, as there are avatar cosmetic items that kind of look like helmets/gauntlets already. The stats are a slightly worse versions of Thorium. This may be a bit OP in the early game, but it's just one armor slot, ideally. Technically you can rock a full set of bags, if you want. Or mix and match, but they will clip with each other.
The crafting recipes are super accessible (1 Plant Fibre/Light Leather) so you can snag them right from the jump. Again, may be a bit OP so use responsibly.
I HIGHLY recommend you pick a slot and style you want to used and then delete the other folders, as the crafting inventory screen will look super cluttered otherwise.
If/when we can mod avatar cosmetics, I'll hopefully redo this to replace an undershirt or something so that the armour slots wont be used. But for now this is an okay work-around.
