Voxl - a simple to use web moderation panel

What is Voxl and what does it feature?

Voxl was developed to allow Hytale server admins to moderate their server from the web and allow sharing of moderation work with other users. As such, Voxl currently features the following:

Remote console
View the console live and execute commands

Player management
Edit your servers bans and whitelist and kick players. Changes done while the server is offline are synchronized as soon as it's online.

Chat
Your in-game chat is mirrored in the web dashboard in real time, filtering out noise from other log messages. Allows for sending messages to all players or specific players.

Live online map
Features a browser live map that displays where players are located in real time. You can share this map with other non-Voxl users or embed it in your website.

Player records
Records chat messages, join and leave activity, kicks and bans to allow for a comprehensive overview into a players history on your server.

Metrics
Collects metrics (CPU usage, memory usage, player count, world TPS) and displays them in real time in your dashboard.

Multi-server & multi user
You can add and manage multiple servers in a single project, invite collaborators and assign them invidiual permissions on a per-server basis.

A very easy installation
To install Voxl, you only need to create a server in the dashboard, install the plugin on your server, paste in the config generated by the dashboard and you're ready to go!

A live online map? Does this require port forwarding?

Nope! Because the dashboard of Voxl is hosted and provided to you outside your game server, you don't need to worry about port forwarding like you'd usually have to worry about with live maps.

This also means the live map even works on servers that are hosted at game server providers, that usually don't allow for any kind of port forwarding anyway.

How does Voxl differ from other web dashboards?

Voxl differs from other web dashboards in two main aspects:

• Voxl runs entirely as a plugin, meaning it can run on any kind of Hytale server: dedicated servers, VPS servers or game server providers.
• The Voxl dashboard is hosted outside your game server and your game server communicates to the dashboard via a web-socket connection. This means the server your game server is running on does not require any kind of open port or port forwarding to work.

Does Voxl cost anything?

No, Voxl is entirely free to use! While we provide the Voxl dashboard to you so your server doesn't need to host it itself, we do not charge users for the usage of the web dashboard.
