Ever get tired of breaking the block beneath a chest and watching it break, spilling all of your precious items onto the ground before you? Ever wish chests in Hytale were a litlte more like chests in Minecraft, and could stand on their own without needing a supporting block beneath them? Ever bemoan that the mod that previously existed for this purpose broke and hasn't been updated yet? No longer! Now chests are unsupported blocks, and can be placed down and stay down without needing a block beneath them!
This mod edits all vanilla chests in the game, and thus will likely conflict with any other mod that edits vanilla chests. As a bonus, however, once it's activated in your world, that's it, there's no need to mess with making new chests, it works out of the box with no muss or fuss! Just download, enable in your world, and you're set! I hope you enjoy!
Note: This mod was obviously inspired by the mod Floating Chests by heruedhel. When the mod wasn't updated for Update 3, I decided to remake it from scratch for myself, and now I'm sharing it for anyone else who needs an updated version for their worlds. If heruedhel updates the mod, I will happily discontinue this version, I have no intention of stealing anyone's hard work or thunder. 💜
