True Backpack (+ Quivers | Helipack)
A mod that transforms backpacks into real wearable equipment while introducing a flexible multi-storage system and immersive utility gear.
Features
- Backpacks are equipped directly in the first slot of your main inventory
- Access backpacks through the original in-game UI
- Adds a Giant Backpack with 36 storage slots
- Backpacks behave similarly to shulker-style portable containers
- Fully compatible with all armor sets
- A Quiver cosmetic appears automatically when arrows are in your inventory
- Toggle visuals anytime using:
/togglecosmetic <quiver|backpack> - Backpacks can be placed on the ground and used as containers
- Press the Secondary key to put on ground
- Press the Use key to open
- Break to pick them back up
Backpack ↔ Chest Transfer System
- Crouch + interact with a container while holding a backpack:
- Primary click -> moves backpack contents into chest
- Secondary click -> pulls items from chest into backpack
- Use click -> moves backpack contents who already inside chest into it
Helipack
The Helipack is a specialized backpack variant designed for mobility and vertical exploration.
- Equip the Helipack like the other's backpack's
- Put charcoal inside it
- Double jump (fast) to start fly, ex: Jump Key + Jump Key (Long press the second time)
The Helipack integrates seamlessly with the backpack system, meaning:
- It uses the same equipment slot
- Remains compatible with armor
- Can be visually toggled like other cosmetics
Warning
⚠️ This mod makes irreversible changes to backpacks.
Installing it without preparation may result in item loss.
- Will disables default backpack unlocking
- Will remove the “unlock backpack” item
- Deletes all existing backpack upgrades you have
- May cause loss of items stored in original backpacks maded by upgrade
Always back up your world and empty all backpacks before installing.
