Description
The last signal takes place in a future where humanity was nearly driven to extinction by machines of its own creation, and the few survivors now struggle to endure.
The messages they sent to one another are the echoes of a distant past, proving there were once life in this devasted world.
Mod content - SPOILER ALERT
- 1 new biome:
- The mod includes a new instance called The heart of the Forest with a WorldGen V2 biome and custom structures
- 3 new enemies:
- Sheriff patrol drone
- Drone01
- Unit K9
- 1 enemy boss
- The Forest Guardian ( Unit F05 )
- Located on the Heart of the Forest, at 350 - 350
- 1 new weapon:
- Wrecking bar
- 1 fire weapon:
- Insurgent Gun ( A tweaked gun from the base game )
- New items and lore:
- The mod includes lore fragments that can be found on the instance
- The mod includes a new resource without use for now, obtained by killing the machines

This mod was developed during the Hytale modjam "Echoes of the Machine" - It will only receive updates for breaking patch releases, not content. Content updates are planned, but not for the near future
Crashes and version compatibility
Initially, we uploaded two versions of The last signal, with compatibility for the current release and pre-release versions. This caused Curseforge to install automatically the pre-release compatible version and it caused crashes when playing the mod or having it installed in your game.
We removed the pre-release compatible version to avoid future issues, apologies to those users that happen to find those crashes, and thank you all for the feedback.
